Georgia Front Porch

This is the second time we have had Georgia Front Porch put an addition onto our house. We love our garage portico! It turned out exactly as we had in mind. Georgia Front Porch is always very professional and punctual. They take great pride in the job they do and thoroughly clean up after the work is completed each day.

We were extremely pleased with the entire process and final product. Gary was very accommodating to meeting our design and worked with us on the best ways to stay within our budget. The actual construction was completed much quicker than promised and Armando was truly amazing. We watched him put the entire structure together with extreme precision and attention to detail. You could tell he was a skilled tradesman that had been doing this for a while. Kuddos to GFP for retaining someone like him. It's been over a year since we had it constructed and we continue to get compliments from neighbors. Highly recommended

Before I found Georgia Front Porch I had come up with a portico design myself. I chose Georgia Front Porch because I wanted to have someone who didn?t just build porticos, but also did portico design and could critique my design and make suggestions.  Their website has a great photo gallery of their projects and looked like they did the general type of designs we wanted.  When I contacted them, I told their design consultant that I had a design in mind and he asked me to send a picture of it to him.  He responded with agreement with my basic design and further recommendations being two options for the roof: one using shingles to match our house roof, and one a black metal roof (which I had not thought of and immediately liked the idea, as a classy look).  I really liked their design consultant, Gary Zielinski - he was very sharp and knowledgeable.  He came to look at our front entry door and uncovered  stoop, asked and answered more questions, discussed a lot of details of the design of the columns, ability of the stoop to support the addition of a portico, drainage, etc, and made lots of good recommendations.  They subcontracted out to other companies for the roof installation and the painting (we did not want to paint it ourselves), and both of those companies were really good too.

It went great and I would certainly use Georgia Front Porch again, if needed. Their work was top-notch and their service was impeccable. The process couldnt have gone any smoother. I worked with Mandie to schedule the various stages of having our portico that was built. Each time someone came to our home to work they were on time, courteous and thoroughly cleaned up once their portion of the job was complete. I would highly recommend Georgia Front Porch.

We had a wonderful experience with Georgia Front Porch. Because this is their busy season, we had to wait approx. 6 weeks between signing the contract and them beginning to work, but they told us up-front that this would be the timing. They came one week to demolish and haul off the old stoop, followed by pouring new concrete. A week later, two carpenters came and worked over 2 days to erect the structure. The metal roof installer (a subcontractor) appeared the next morning and finished his work by lunchtime. Two days later, the painters (more subcontractors) arrived and finished within another half day. Every person involved with the job was professional and left a clean job site. I had an appropriate amount of communication from the main office, letting me know when to expect people to show up for work, and they all showed up when expected. Quality of workmanship is excellent - we would not hesitate to hire Georgia Front Porch again.

Georgia front porch did a great work at our home, installed a new portico as same as other homes in our community. The price quote was cheaper than other companies and quality of work was too good. Only problem was lack of co-ordination between the third party painting & roofing companies.  We will use their service for any future works at our home.

It was an excellent experience from beginning to end.  The worked diligently with me to obtain the right design for the type of portico I wanted.  Once the decision was made the construction portion went just as smoothly.

This was a wonderful experience. I requested a quote by email, sending along a picture of my house. They responded with several options which they had superimposed on my picture. I actually waited over a year to add the portico, but they were able to pull up my original quote and they only adjusted for changes in building material cost. The result is fantastic. Not only is my front door protected from the weather, but my home looks much better. I can't even imagine the house without it.
