Garel Curry

A recent relocation brought us from Southwest Florida to Alpharetta.  Given short-term corporate housing, we needed to find a house to rent which would accomodate a young family.  Using the service Realtor.com there were several houses.  The response when calling on the first few properties and speaking with realtor contacts, let just say were interested in their own unit they represented and not interested in not much else.  One agent said, "drive by the property and if you like it call me back and I'll set up a time for you to view it"  One might think with the way the real estate market has been impacted by the economic downturn agents would be more interested in fostering a relationship with a future buyer?
Happy to say, this bumpy beginning all changed when we called on Garel Curry of Harry Norman Realtors about a listing.  Garel, within the hour, had established a time to not only look at a property we called on but also three others based on our needs of at minimum 3bed/ 2bath.  We didnt rent the unit we initially called Garel about however, we shared with him our family's needs and our price range we wanted to stay within. 
 After viewing 6-8 properties, not including doubling back to revisit a couple properties to insure they were not right for our rental needs. We found two that were comparable.  Garel worked with the listing agents, serving our interest in communicating to  agents our needs on the two units we considered, along with negotiating the terms we wanted.  We found a place to hang our hat with a two-year lease. 
After we sell our home in Florida and our lease expires we'll be calling Garel again to help us to buy our next home.  Whether you're looking at buying or renting you owe it to yourself to give Garel a try.
