The initial installation seemed to go smoothly until the system began to work haphazardly. They were called out several times to fix the errors in the system, but problems continued. It?s important to note that the equipment was not defective.
The last service technician that Fine Home Technologies sent to my home was a sub-contractor with no affiliation to the company. He confided in me that the Control 4 programming and the entire system configuration was poorly implemented, and some equipment was not even installed.
Fine Home Technologies billed me for each service call, which I refused to pay. In several emails and phone conversations I pointed out that they had not delivered the properly functioning system agreed upon and paid for. Many ridiculous excuses were made by the owner and manager, and they eventually asked me to pay half of what they billed and they would write off the other half. I again declined payment saying that they were now trying to discount an incompetent installation.
I have since had another company come out to fix the problems, and they agree that the programming and installation was poorly done. Do not use Fine Home Technologies!
