 + -1 moreWe couldn't be more pleased with the final outcome of this remodeling project! We now have a beautiful lower level that matches the quality and design of the upper two levels of our home. The terrace-level space includes a full kitchen, large pantry/food storage room, dining room, family/media room, master bedroom suite with sitting/game area, large bathroom and walk-in closet, additional guest bedroom, additional bathroom, and large storage/utility space. Special features include: custom cabinets, ship lap walls, sliding barn doors, stone fireplace, wood flooring, and three french doors connecting to our outdoor kitchen / patio / yard space. Ensign Building Solutions owner, David Goulding, was very professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy, with high-quality subcontractors, good communication, accurate price estimating, and effective project management -- completing the project on-time and on-budget. We can highly recommend Ensign Building Solutions as an effective general contractor and builder.
Description of Work: The 2500 square foot terrace level of our home was unfinished. The walls were roughly framed-in but everything else was unfinished. Ensign Building Solutions walked through the space with us, listened to our ideas, explained technical solutions, and helped us envision the finished product. They served as general contractor, overseeing each step of the remodeling process. This included accurate price estimating, presentation of potential subcontractors for our selection, timetables for various phases of the project, on-going communication, assistance in selecting materials and fixtures, and overall project management. They were extremely helpful in communicating with us when some of our ideas weren't feasible or cost-effective, presenting alternative solutions.
