DSS is one of the best companies to work with that I have run across. Eric was dependable, efficient, communicative, and courteous throughout the whole process of getting our hardcoat stucco house repaired and painted. The result is superb. They painted all trim, as well, and did an excellent job. I highly recommend DSS Stucco Solutions! You will be pleased!

Eric handled the transaction and he was a pleasure to deal with.  He demonstrated a high level of knowledge of stucco and the design and maintenance of exterior stucco surfaces.  Being new to the area, I do not have experience with the way the homes are built and maintained.  DSS previously worked on the residence before I purchased it, redoing all of the caulking and sealing of openings, etc.  The house passed a stucco inspection by an independent inspector at the time I bought the house and DSS's work was done well according to the inspector.  The only problem was the absence of Kick-Out flashings.  Through this project working with DSS and Eric, I feel comfortable that the exterior walls of my residence are in excellent shape and I am protected by the DSS warranty if any problem arises.  The workman on the project did an excellent job and there was no inconvenience on my part over the two days required to complete the work.

The hardcoat stucco above our sliding glass door was in bad shape and was allowing water to enter into the walls. Eric from DSS came over to survey the problem, and provided an estimate by email that day. They started work exactly when they said they would and ended ahead of schedule. They found some hidden problems that could only be seen after removing the stucco. They repaired the hidden problems at no charge. They matched the paint color on the new stucco close enough that you can't tell, unless you look very closely, that it was repaired. The on site supervisor was extremely professional, and Eric H. kept in constant communications with us. I highly recommend DSS.

Got a couple woodpecker holes on the top of the chimney at about 2 1/2 stories high, and DSS did an excellent job with filling those holes, painting them to match the existing stucco color, and also use the heat resistant paint to paint my chimney cap. Excellent Communication.

They were prompt and they explained what they were going to do thoroughly. They sent a proposal that was clear on what they would perform. They coordinated with me to schedule a start date and they completed the work within a day.

From start to finish the company was timely, professional and very detailed in explaining what work would be done, why and the benefits. The supervisor Eric was responsive, very detailed in his review of the work and checked in with us every time he visited the job site. Once the work was completed Eric did a detailed review with us to show us everything they had done. I would highly recommend their work, Eric was very professional in making sure we understood everything that was in the estimate and work needed. I was very impressed with Eric's knowledge and his attention to detail.

The salesman, Eric Hasselock was very responsive and made certain we knew exactly what would be done, including taking pictures of problem areas and emailing to us. Prior to performing the work, he provided a contract which explained in detail each thing to be done and the cost. After the work was performed, he came over the next day to make sure we were satisfied and also to walk around the house and show us everything that had been done. The team that did the work was very prompt and professional and left everything neat and clean.

I think it was about two weeks from calling for an estimate to having the job finished. Our rep, Eric, was very prompt in all of his responses. The actual work went very smoothly. They cut back the stucco and correctly caulked around 44 windows and made a proper finish above the ground. They filled and matched 4 or 5 areas caused by the previous contractors mistakes.

They did a great job overall. They did a (free) initial estimate of the stucco house I was considering buying. I called them since the general home inspector suggested a stucco inspection since there were areas needing caulking and below grade stucco. Eric H came out to do the inspection/estimate. It was a non-invasive test for moisture, visual inspection of windows/doors/flashing, etc. He spent about an hour doing all this and showing me where there were areas of concern (below grade stucco with high moisture levels, wood-rot in window/door trim, etc.). He was polite, professional and had pictures to show me of before/after of other jobs. He emailed an estimate to me that evening and followed up twice in the weeks following (as any good sales person would do)...but I really didn't feel any sales pressure. After closing, I contacted him and was able to negotiate a lower price for the work. They started on schedule, Dane, the foreman introduced himself and showed me some of the work in progress. He was polite and friendly (and took off shoes when he had to enter the house to flip the circuit breaker which flipped). I was quite satisfied with their work: the caulking looked professionally done, the trim-work also was nicely done and the foundation cutback and sealing looked clean and as if the house had been built that way. The caulking they did comes with a lifetime warranty. They explained that they'd come back each 8-12 months to inspect some of the windows/doors. Should there be any water damage, they'd re-inspect all work and labor and parts would be covered by the warranty. This is good considering the number of wood trimmed windows and the rate at which they have previously rotted. They do replace with PVC (or wood if you prefer) so hopefully I won't have to replace again. During the job, they did uncover additional wood rot on door trims which raised the final price but they were not initially caught due to the fact that the storm door metal trim was covering the wood rot....so it was only noticed when they temporarily removed this trim to caulk. They had a fairly small crew and they worked hard in the hot sun. They cleaned up their equipment and tools each night (since they left some things like ladders on-site). The only complaint I have was that there was small oil-stains on the concrete driveway caused by their vehicles. So you may want to ask them to put cardboard down if they will be parking in your driveway.

He arrived right on time and he didn t make a mess doing the work. He was polite when he arrived and it didn t take him long to do. It turned out fine and I had a good experience with him. He knew what he was doing and when he finished he picked up his stuff and was out. He didn't get in the way and I hardly even noticed that he was here.

From the initial estimate, the company and their rep.'s were extremely professional and kept their word. Work was done in a very professional manner and everything was kept clean. Project Manager (Norman Ham) walked us around entire project from start to finish. Unbelievable job. Several construction companies could learn a thing or two from Diversified Stucco.
