COMPUTER MEDICS OF LANIER

I do NOT recommend going here at all. After a week (and having to bring it back in 4-5 times), they could still not figure out what was wrong with my PC. The last time they gave it back to me, they basically acted like if it doesn't work then it's your problem now. I went elsewhere and got the issue diagnosed properly within the same day and now have a fixed computer within less than a week. They do not have the expertise for gaming PCs and did not want to admit that they can't fix it. If they were to admit it, they would have to offer me a full refund which they clearly didn't want to do. When I went to their place asking for a refund, they tried to put the blame on ME saying it was my fault since it didn't work when I got home. They also made me sign a contract, and after I re-read it, I realized they said the in the contract the price of the part I bought was $40 more than what it actually was and gave me a minuscule refund of what I actually paid. They also claimed to 'partially' fix it, but I wanted to go to a professional to see what is completely wrong with it and have it working for college. If you went to the hospital with a broken arm and a broken leg but they only fixed your broken arm, would you be satisfied? Of course not. And they claim to have 'low prices' which is obviously not the case. These kind of people do not care about you and only want your money. Huge waste of my time. Avoid at all costs!

We were initially told that the computer could be fixed, but then later told they could only do a temporary fix.

Service was very good. Allan arrived at the appointed time, and was very efficient with his work. He removed viruses and malware from 2 computers and got both of them back to the point where they are performing well. He answered all of my questions and made security reccomendations.
I would definitately reccomend Allan and Computer Medics.

I have been disabled without this computer and I found that Computer Medics of Lanier does house calls, no trip charge, but would not be able to come out today, which was fine with me. I gladly took it in. LeeAnn is extremely professional, nice and informed and J.R. who worked on my PC also was very knowledgeable and fast. They know how to treat a customer. They fixed it within a few hours and I have found a very relieable place to take all my computer issues to. So glad for Angie's List and Computer Medics of Lanier.

Returning from a vacation I turned on the computer. Nothing happened except for a blinking green light. I knew that it meant something and we are all are disabled without a working computer. I took it to computer Medics of Lanier which was near by. What a stroke of good fortune. Had I know then what I know now, I would have traveled over 1/2 hour each way to use their services. J. R. Holly, who worked on my machine, had it turned around in 3 hours. He explained, it detail, what was done. In my case, since the exact parts would have required a 2 or 3 day wait, he put in a used part and even guaranteed it. He told me the hows and whys of what he did. I would rate them very highly on honesty and integrity. I would recommend friends and family to them.

The owner, Allan Edmonds, was also there and he provided me with much good advice while I was waiting for my computer. I asked many questions about software options that might be best for me, and he gave me tips about keeping my computer safe from viruses and other malware. He even gave me websites where I could download free software programs to accomplish this. He was patient and professional and also spent time helping another customer on the telephone.
