It was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life they’re a totally horrible company they just want to take the easy money I called the company on Friday night no answer machine suddenly someone called me and left a voicemail from a different number he said he was returning my call to call him back so I did I explained the situation I asked how much was to pump our septic tank he said it was from $250 and up depending on the septic tank system next day he came to my house he told me that He knew he told me the price was 250 but he said it was going to be $575 because it was overfilled if they had to get inside the tank it would be an extra cost of $575 he didn’t even had to get inside the tank they pump our septic and then he charged us $825 he said it was $575 for pumping and $250 for after hours he lied in my face and when I contacted them to complained about the overcharge no one help me out and they are a joke

They got everything right after several contractors took a look and walked away. They were courteous professionals who were on time, communicated with us the entire way and were prepared to get the job done without leaving a mess! Wouldn’t think of calling anyone else!

We had Banks install a new tank and field lines in April, 2021. The tank was offset from the home by about 20 feet. They installed a pump and an alarm to help keep the contents moving to the field, but the chord on the pump was only a few feet long and wouldn't reach the nearest wall of the house. So, they were going to put a power pole in the middle of our yard! When we objected (at the end of installation), they said that we could cut the chord ourselves and add an extension ourselves (also involving us digging ourselves, etc). This would void the warranty on the pump of course. So....we did what they suggested because honestly, I don't know anyone of sound mind that would want a power pole in the middle of their yard, and we needed a working septic system. Fast forward 5 months, and today the pump stopped working and Banks will not honor the warranty. In fact, they were going to charge us $350 just to come out and tell us that. So....we are now replacing the pump ourselves and found that we can order pumps with customized chord sizes (for half the price)! I'm not sure why our $11,000 payment to Banks didn't include this feature when it is clearly available (and we were on their project log for months ahead of time). I will say, they did a good job on the field line installation, however the way they handled the pump and the after-install servicing of our account is upsetting. I would suggest you work with them ahead of installation to ask about where any power pole will be, and making sure you have the correct amount of power chord to accommodate the length of the placement.

Matt and Chad are very informative and willing to take time to discuss options and teach us the pros and cons of all our options. We really appreciated their underatanding and patience with us and our many questions. Justin and his team did our project. He was very polite, professional and informative. We highly recommend Banks Septic.

Banks Septic Tank Service is an exceptional company! They were on time, thorough, and did a wonderful job. In fact my sister and friend both use them now.

If you want an honest, do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it and with a Customer Service attitude and focus then call on Banks Septic. We just bought a house with a 50 year old tank. They could have easily told me it was old and need replacing. Instead they inspected it, answered a ton of my questions and did not upsell or B.S. me. They will be my Septic company for as long has I have one!!!! I cannot recommend them enough. Paul was incredible!!

Banks Tanks shows how a company is only worried about their profit and not the quality of work they perform. We paid $10K for a new septic system and Banks very poorly filled and failed to properly pack the dirt over the areas they worked and now I have two foot sinkholes across my back yard and they are not willing to come out and correct their mistake. They simply try their best to blame me, the paying customer. Be aware who you do business with as this is very disappointing and I would not suggest using Banks for your solution!!!

Great. These folks installed our system in 2003. They are honest, personable, knowledgeable. Happy to answer questions. Taught me more about septic systems than I ever thought I wanted to know. Charges are very reasonable.

They only pumped out the one side of the tank where most of the solids accumulate. Jusy read that contractors do this to save on money of hauling mostly water. However, this can leave "overflowed" solids in the unpumped side that could accumulate and cause outflow blockages. Didn't clean inside of tank like prior contractor, even though I offered them a garden hose. Just beware, ask exactly what they are going to do when comparing prices.

Very well. The young man who came, Matt, was very professional and informative, as I didn't know much about septic systems. Educated me on routine maintenance. He pumped the tank and checked the toilet in question, giving advice. I was very happy.

Would definitely recommend them. We thought our tank was larger and received a quote based on larger size. They were very honest in telling us the tank was a smaller size and charged us less. They also hand dug for access. (Less damage to yard as no equipment brought in) Highly recommend them.

Matt provides exceptional service and went above and beyond with help, giving guidance to me on how to reroute my waste line most economically and not seeking to add in unnecessary features or services to up sell. His responsiveness to calls was very good. Of all the companies I sought for estimates, Matt seemed the only one knowledgeable about tree root zones and kept his word on maintaining 10 feet from any of the trunks to minimize damage. All 260' of chamber was nicely fitted within my front yard. Quality of septic work takes time to assess, so I am posting a year out to report that all is well. Other than some settling of the ground beside the new tank over the past two months, the system is performing well. I give an overall A for the work done but a B on professionalism because of the attitude of one of the techs who came to do the job. The man who did the bulk of the work (Donny, I believe) was superb and a pleasure to work with. Later in the day, a second tech arrived with another backhoe arrived who was far less careful and more interested in finishing the job without attention to detail. While it was dark and at the end of a long day, it's more important to finish well than simply finish. Two thumbs up for Banks! I provide two pictures for a view of the project. One photo shows how to ramp your curb with boards. Doing this is good professional practice, but I highly advise requiring any contractor you use to do this so your curb is not broken.
