If i could give zero stars i would. I requested a quote to paint and patch a hole in our ceiling. I was quoted for $300 and that they would try and match as close as possible. When they were working on the repair i noticed the color was very different from my ceiling. They said it would dry white. The next morning i woke up and the color was clearly not white. They are trying to charge an additional $100 now for them to come out and paint. What a horrible company.
Response from At Home Handyman Services
"[Member Name Removed], unfortunately there was a misunderstanding here. The estimate clearly stated that this was to be patched and paint ready. I am sorry that you did not understand what paint ready meant. The additional charge would be to go back and Paint the ceiling for you. That I was discounting since there was a misunderstanding."

Brian seemed very nice when he initially came to our house to take a look at the work that needed to be done and give us an estimate. Unfortunately, we never saw him again after that.
We were really disappointed with our experience overall. The quality of the work completed was poor and we had to ask for some items to be redone. The trim around the windows that were replaced was completely beaten up, and there was a hole in the drywall. They just painted over the trim and didn't address the hole in the wall until we said something. We asked that the trim be replaced, but it was never again addressed. Painting overall was sloppy. They painted the outside of the front door red, and there was red paint on the inside of the door which was white.
Just a few of the other frustrations we experienced...
We had to replace two tires on our car because wood screws were dropped all over our driveway/garage and never cleaned up.
We had to follow up constantly to find out when someone would be coming to the house to work. There was virtually no communication. And almost every time someone did come to the house to work, they asked us what they were supposed to be working on.
The scope of work we agreed on was estimated at about $6,500. In January, before the work was completed, we received an invoice for $11,500. They sent a corrected invoice after we said something, but it just shows the lack of organization. At this point we decided to just pay for the work that had been done and find someone else to finish our to do list.
We were given an estimate to repair our deck, and in conversation were told that cost was for everything. We specifically asked if that included painting the newly replaced railing, and were told that it did. Great! When the time came for us to settle up and move one, we asked for part of the deck repair cost to be removed since the painting was never done. We were told that estimate never included painting and that would have been separate.

The provider came out to the house and hung a picture over the fireplace. They hung the picture very quickly and did an excellent job. It was just perfect.

His name is Brian, and my realtor recommended him. He has done a lot of work for other people that I got from the same realtor company. The price is fairly good, and the quality is excellent, the only thing is that because he has so many projects, it takes him a little longer than some other contractor, but he makes up for it in price.
