It was a great experience. Jay spent time with us at their real brick and mortar showroom and educated us on carpet fibers and other stuff and then helped us decide what carpet fits our family and our budget. It is a true family business. I only wish I had found them sooner for our last house.

Everything went exactly as planned. First Alan's flooring was a bit more affordable on the same products than other quotes we received. They also had a very aggressive 3 day installation process vs 5-6 days with their competitors. Everything went exactly as planned, and the work was done immaculate.

I wasn't hear when they performed the work but 2-3 weeks after I saw the floor it was wrinkling up under the furniture. I had them come out and inspect it after and they said it was caused by the furniture. 10 years ago though I had some one install the same floor with this furniture in place and this had never happened. I asked them to replace it and offered to pay for a better grade of vinyl and they still would not replace it.

"I've spoken with [member name removed] several times and did everything possible in order to help her. When she explained her side of the story to me, she mentioned that her vinyl was wrinkling up under her furniture. After someone came out to inspect the job we noticed there were no wrinkles; the vinyl was torn. Also, when the person went out to look at the damaged floor, he was being cursed at by her son. We've done many vinyl installations before and we have never had these problems before. We have pictures of the damage that show that the vinyl is torn because of furniture being jerked around. We’ve performed many jobs for people with disabilities that need a wheelchair to get around and they have never presented us with any problem whatsoever with the same exact product. The furniture doesn't have any protective tips to prevent it from scratching or damaging the floor. I got in contact with my sales rep and submitted a claim for her, she hasn’t contacted me since. I sent her an email with a brochure that explains what the warranty covers, she responded in a very sarcastic manner saying she was going to cancel all her plans for the day to read it.
