They're good for an easy quick estimate.

They were suppose to slop the concrete so that the water would run off to the grass which they didn't do. Then they overcharged me 50 square feet. At first I was going to do a sidewalk also but changed my mind and ask him come back and remeasure. He did and I should have measured the space myself. He seemed like a nice guy so I didn't question him until I had someone else that was staining the slab after it was in and i told him it was 450 sq ft. He said it wasn't so we measured it, and it wasn't. He wrote on the estimate 450 sq ft and thats what he was charging me for. I called him to question him about it and he made alot of excuses saying that they didn't charge by the square foot but by the job. I asked him why he bothered to even put it on the estimate, but he couldn't really give me a good answer. I was so mad. After the fact I felt he overcharged me and wasn't really happy with the way it was done in the end. So be aware.
