A-1 Phillips repaired wood rot on our deck and re-stained all surfaces. They also painted a newly installed French Door. They did an excellent job with attention to detail. We appreciated their recommendations on preserving our deck for the future. Terry and Ray are very personable and easy to work with. The services were reasonably priced. They even did additional work for us as part of the job to ensure we were satisfied, and the project was complete. The workmanship was above and beyond our expectations. We will certainly call them again for all our painting and household repair needs.

I was impressed with the timely response to my request for a quote. After choosing A-1 the owner contacted me and scheduled an appointment for the repairs. He showed up at time given, assessed the repairs, kept me informed while working and allowed me to take pictures of damage for my claim against a manufacturer of product that caused damage. He brought one helper and they were able to complete job and put everything back in its place once done. I would highly recommend A-1 Phillips painting for all your handyman needs. Just to note I was pleased with price of repairs and Mr Phillips was honest it what was damaged and replaced only what was needed. This company and owner is honest, reliable, reasonably priced and courteous. The project included tearing up damage floors, clearing mold from subfloor, replacing flooring, replacing molding, repairing damaged drywall and painting. A repair I thought would take several days took one day , due to the hard work of Mr Phillips and his coworker Ray of A1 Phillips Painting.

Terry did acceptable work but would not listen to what I wanted. Did not come three times he said he would be here. I paid him over $2000 dollars for less than a days work and still hired someone else to finish what he said he would do. Talked too much about the "extra" things he did but didn't do what he was hired to do.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Terry was prompt in calling me and made a appointment for the next morning. He arrived on time Nd went straight to task, within an hour, he had everything fixed. He even went beyond and handled the windows in the basement. And his price was amazing, more than fair! We will be using him for a lot more services in our home!
