About us

We are a business that creates all soft window treatments, bedding, reupholstering furniture and creating one of a kind items. We are not limited to sewing but are a multi media workroom. We do have access to metal working which includes personalized items. As we are a custom workroom we require all materials to be paid for and 1/2 of the labor involved. The balance is to be paid for at time of completion or installation... Installer will collect their fee at time of installation.

This turned out to be a very pleasant experience.  I found A Drapery and Decor Workroom LLC and the Owner, Donna Solar on Craigslist.  When contacted, Donna was very quick to set up a meeting with me at my house to review what I wanted done and get some ideas going.  I received my quote for services very fast and it was exactly on the low end of my budget and very reasonable. Donna and I worked very closely designing exactly what I needed for both my Master Bedroom and Great Room.  She showed me many beautiful examples of her work including different styles of fabric and different designs for Comforter/Pillow Shams/Draperies/Throw Pillows.  It turns out there were a lot more possible choices than I had ever thought of before and Donna knew how to do all of it.  The end result was spectacular!!!!!!  How Donna managed to take all my varying ideas and wants and weave them into the Final Product, I'll never know.  I was exceedingly happy with her professionalism and her expertise.  Considering the amount of work she did for me, I received huge "Bang for my Buck".  I Proudly show off my home now to all my friends.  Thank You Donna for making my house look extra special!  I highly recommend Donna Solar and A Drapery and Decor Workroom, LLC.
