They did a good job. My one-story 1600 square-foot house had not been pressure-washed in at least 10 years and there was a lot of mold on the siding and dirt on the brick. The siding now looks very much better, almost like it was repainted. It had been such a long time since the siding was cleaned and the dirt/mold was so ingrained that it was not possible to remove it all with just pressure washing, but they got rid of most of it. The brick had actually never been cleaned in the house's 27 years of existence and I am very happy with the almost-new look of the red brick. The repair of the chewed-away section in the wood below my roof looks indistinguishable from the rest of the soffit area. They replaced the damaged wood and matched the aged paint perfectly to my eye. They charged exactly what I was quoted as an estimate ($120 for the soffit repairs and $150 for the pressure washing), even though they did some extra things that I did not originally ask for (they cleaned all the debris off my roof and pressure washed my porch swing). My front porch is bordered by English boxwoods and the last time my siding was pressure-washed, the chemicals used killed one of the boxwoods and damaged 2 others (the damaged bushes are still not fully recovered). So I was very relieved that DDIY did no damage at all to any of my boxwoods or other shrubbery. I found this business because they were pressure-washing and repainting the house next door to me over a period of several days. While I was out walking my dog during those days, I was able to see how they worked and the quality of the job that they did, so I felt comfortable hiring them on the spot after talking to one of the owners (John Gerald) and getting an estimate as they were finishing up the work next door. According to their business card, they do painting, pressure washing, demolition, carpentry, tile, repairs, maintenance, "and much more". I've also asked for an estimate to clean my house's windows and storm windows, but I have not yet received that estimate. Their business card says that they are licensed and insured, that they are remodeling contractors, and that they do commercial as well as residential work. I am a very satisfied customer and would not only hire them again but would also recommend them to others.
