I was moving from out-of-state and needed a shed to replace the dilapidated one at the house we were buying. Joseph was very helpful in answering my questions. Due to the lot size and shape, we needed a 8' deep, but 16' wide shed to best utilize the available space. Because it was going to be near the ranch-style house with low-profile roof, it was important that the shed not 'over-power' the house. Joseph recommended the Oxford with it's Saltbox style roof. After moving into the house and getting settled (over two months since initial discussion), I scheduled the build. They still had my info and knew what I wanted. Like others have said, the materials arrived exactly when stated, and one of their builders came and built the shed himself. This is a quality build that feels extremely solid and designed to last. Feels more like a garage. They even put the floor joists 12" on center! This is an amazing group to work with, and they obviously have pride in their product!!

punctual crew, friendly and fast. I enjoyed watching the crew work throughout the project. They finished in about a day total (had to make a second trip to install the metal roof once the material was cut by the supplier). I am a picky designer and had drawings of where I wanted and HOW I wanted things done and they were very accomodating. There were a few details that I wasn't satisfied with after they left (again, I am very detail oriented) as I was not able to be there for a walk-through at completion). They came right back out and fixed them immediately. Great customer service and very, very good communication. I couldn't be happier and would recommend Conestoga wholeheartedly.

Thank You Angie's List! After submitting my original report on 3/16/07, I was contacted by the owner of Conestoga, Richard. He agreed to come inspect our building and agreed that the work his crew performed was not up to Conestoga standards. He agreed to replace the improperly constructed barn style doors with pre-hung custom manufactured doors at his expense. Richard and his team did a good job of getting the job done including painting the new doors and even providing the door knobs. In addition to the door replacement, we were given a $500 rebate as an apology for our original experience. Richard did everything he could possibly do to rectify an unfortunate circumstance.

Absolutely fantastic. The whole thing from start to finish was handled extremely well. They call almost every day to update on schedule. The construction is superb. A bit more expensive than the big box stores but the difference in materials and technique is worlds apart. I don't exaggerate to say this building will stand for 100 years. I have been in construction for years and these folk build it right. Rock solid carpentry, over engineered on materials, no skimping anywhere, level, plumb and square and so fast I was shocked. As a last bonus the crew was polite, professional and left the site near spotless. I know this sounds to good to be true but it is true. You just could not do better then what Conestoga built for me, how they built it, the service and the value. I could have done it myself, in a month and costing at least as much, glad I didn't! This company does it the old fashioned way. They do it right and better then promised or expected.

We were told the building would take 2 to 3 days to build, but in reality it took 2 weeks. I heard more excuses as to why they wouldn't be here tomorrow, and why they would be leaving early when they were here. I would be told they would be here by 8:00 a.m., but by 10:00 a.m. I would finally call and either I would hear that they over-slept or wouldn't be coming. Communication was very poor, and the excuses were many. I am not a carpenter, so I had to trust that they would do quality work. I don't think they did. The doors are bowed and don't fit, and the comment I got from the builder is that they are not door manufacturers, and the nail guns were not set at the proper depth so our painter had quit a time caulking all the nail heads. We called the builders back to fix the doors and a few minor problems, of course it took many days for them to return, and they returned with an attitude, and I was feeling like I had done something wrong. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

HER FORM INDICATED ALL "GOOD" RESPONSES EXCEPT FOR ONE "AVERAGE" RESPONSE. BOTH VERBALLY, AND ON THE FORM, SHE INDICATED THAT THAT SHE WAS SATISFIED. HER COMMENTS ON ANGIE'S LIST, THEREFORE, ARE SURPRISING. IF SHE HAD APPROACHED US WITH ANY ISSUES, I'M CERTAIN THAT WE COULD HAVE ARRIVED AT A MORE MUTUALLY SATISFACTORY RESOLUTION."
