It turned out well. I would say that it was done within the day. They are very professional.

Roof was the first task. We made the contract on a Thursday and the crew was there at 7 am on the following Monday. Work was completed in one day and the cleanup was immaculate. I found only one nail on the ground afterwards. The quality of the work left nothing to be desired. This was NOT due to an insurance claim but only because the roof needed to be replaced due to age.
The gutter/leaf guard task was next. Also went without a hitch. These people took care of fascia and soffit repairs as well. I found a couple of additional areas later that needed to be repaired and those were done as requested.
Our front porch railing had a few spindles that were rotting as well as the bottom of one of the posts so I asked for the whole railing to be replaced and the post to be fixed. The railing was replaced and the one post was not only repaired but the other two posts were fixed to imitate the the looks of the post that really needed the repairs. A nice touch.
I had contacted the company via Angie's List e-mail on a Sunday afternoon and already the same evening Russell called me back. He came by on Tuesday to take a look at what we wanted to have done and on Thursday we decided to go with Braswell Construction for this project. Russell was well-prepared when he came by and the quote was in the expected range. Work was done very professionally and on schedule.

Contractor arrived. Inspection ok. However, since the replacement, the shingle seems to be loose and needs repairing again.

The owner was very helpful and seemed knowledgable. He offered information about the roof which was appreciated.

Crew arrived on date/time scheduled and worked harder than most workers I have seen. They completed the job in one day. Very respectful to both me and my wife, have already planned an additional project, without hesitation!

It went great! We were very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. The job took a little longer than what was told at beginning but it was raining a lot when trying to get this all done. The crew was very professional and easy to work with so we could get everything just the way we wanted it! We can't wait till we are ready to do some work on the inside of the house. Going to be calling the guys at Braswell to make sure we get the best work for a great price!

The cottage looks far better then it did prior to the water damage and they work was done very professionally.

It was late and the evening when my washer overflowed - they were very quick to arrive at my home and took care of every detail to help me put my house back together. They were extra careful with my belongings and everything was put back together just like they found it.... given the issue we had with water in our home Braswell made this as pain free as possible and worked directly with my insurance adjuster - I would highly recommend them to any of my friends or family!

They came within a few weeks after I purchased the "Big Deal" and the service was okay. They guy that came out he was super nice and did a good job. He then give me a follow-up and it took him four days or more for him to get back to me.

Jody and Braswell Construction setup a time to come back to take care of the problem . They made sure we would not have any problem with musty odors, made the claims process easy. Thanks to Braswell Construction Group what could have been a very stressful situation they turned it into a stress free situation

It went pretty smooth. He did exactly what he said he would do.He replaced the microwave. Switched the cabinet doors. Had the wlls repainted. Plus a few more items that needed to be fixed.

Chris was professional and knowledgeable.  I received a thorough report of what Chris found after inspecting our roof.  He secured a few loose shingles and did some resealing.  I appreciated that Chris did not give us the hard sell in regard to purchasing additional services from him.  The only minor disappointment was that he didn't sweep the pine straw off our roof; however, he did remove some small, dead branches that were on the roof.

Jody Gentle from Braswell Construction is one of the nicest people, I just wanted to kiss him on the cheek. He came and checked out every detail of my roof. When I called the insurance company to set up an appointment, Jody was right here when the insurance adjuster came to check the roof. The dumpster was here on Thursday morning and the shingles that afternoon. Before day on Friday I could here the guys coming to replace my roof. They did a fantastic job, and they also cleaned up everything so well. I am very pleased with the finished product. Jody was even here Friday morning checking things out and making sure everything went well, I really appreciate that. I just could not believe all this was done in a week. Thank you!!! I am already telling my friends and family about Braswell Construction and the great work you do. Replacing several thousand feet of cedar roof is a challenge, since it's not easy finding companies with plenty of practice in this difficult material.
After making my short list of roofers who showed cedar work on their Web site who were Angie A's, Kudzu 5 stars, and BBB A+, I let the job to Braswell Construction. Their presentation was topnotch, and they were highly competitive on price.
Owner Chris Braswell spent plenty of time at the house to make sure he understood exactly the look and feel we wanted to achieve. He spent hours at the house the first day to make sure his cedar team knew exactly how the finished mansard roof was to look, and came by twice more to work with his crew on the treatment of the tricky areas like the pocket windows.
His cedar team were true craftsman. When a passerby on the street points up the driveway at the new roof and shouts "Awesome!" at me, you feel like you made the right choice.

They were very good. We didn't pay any additional costs other than the big deal amount. They guy who came out was really helpful, he was a creative problem-solver and he did a great job.

My initial contact was with Mr. Jodie Gentile of Braswell Construction Group. Mr Gentile was very thorough in his explanation of what I should expect. Mr. Gentile worked closely with me to insure that I was getting the best deal within the guidelines of the estimate given to me by my claims adjuster. He managed to get me the best possible roofing material and he furnished new down spouts for my gutters even though my insurance adjuster didn't.On the day of the service he had sent enough people to do the job. They not only had to put a roof on the main house they put one on my storage house in my back yard.  I was very pleased with Mr. Gemtile's professionalism and the way he handled himself. After the work was done they cleaned up the area and then they leftt the whole job was finished in about 6 hrs.

A few days later the gutters were installed and this crew was just as deligent as the roofers. With out the expert help of Mr.
Jodie Gentile I doubt if everything would have went as smooth as they did. It gives me great pleasure to say that I would
highly recommend Mr. Jodie Gentile and Braswell Construction Group to any that is looking for a honest and hard working
company.

Geoff inspected the roof and advised that sealing around vent should work until roof needed replacing, only a few years away.  He inspected all the other vents as well, and would not accept a fee.  Very professional.  Will definitely use Braswell for future roofing needs!

The contractor was great -- very professional.  He showed up on-time, did the repair work and showed me photos of the work he had done.  Very thorough.  We've had no problems since he did the repair.

During the month of April of 2013, we received a hail storm in our community and several homes were damaged.  Immediately after the storm, I contacted our insurance agent and requested that they send someone out to inspected our home for any damages received during the storm.  During their investigation they discovered that we had indeed received some damages to our property.



After receiving several estimates from varies construction companies my husband and I narrowed it down to two company.  After talking with Braswell Company's representative we were sold on the company's presentation, plus we visited and talked to others in the community who also used Braswell Construction Company for their repair work.  They too were satisfied with the quality and the professionalism of the finish work performed by this company.



Their representative was very professional and knowledgeable.  He went over in detail the different types of shingles and helped us to decide on the best choice for the money we wanted to pay.  In the process we added the gutter replacement to our contract.  We were very pleased with the timing and the quality of the finished work.  We felt that the company pricing were in line with the estimate that we received from the insurance company.



We were very pleased with the finished work and we would recommend the Braswell Company to others who are in need of this type work.  We gave them an "A" rating. 

The roof inspection was a good learning experience for me and it was very helpful to be shown photos of what damage was being found, as well as how it looked after repair. The ventilation project was very quick and I hope it will extend the life of my roof.

The initial contact was immediate and we got them scheduled to come do a roof inspection very quickly. They came out, showed me everything that needed to be fixed immediately and some items that would need future repair. The repairs needing Immediate attention were made. I had a great experience with the guy who came to the house and actually did the work (David?). My next door neighbor asked for a referral (if I was pleased), so I got some business cards. I was feeling exceptionally positive at the time and would have easily given them an A rating ....
However: The next day, the owner called to follow up and see how everything went, but I missed the call.  I returned his call not too long afterward (couple days, maybe?) and got the voicemail -- in my message, I stated that I wanted to talk to them about a couple of the additional repairs that were mentioned during the inspection, one in particular that definitely needed to be fixed soon. I never heard from them again. Not really sure what that's about, but now I am feeling like I wouldn't want to go back to them for the additional work (even though the person who came to work on my house did a really great job, was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and helpful). It is very disappointing, especially considering how great everything went initially. I know that the repairs I need are small (in all regards, including price) in comparison to a whole new roof, but that shouldn't matter; business is business, and good business equals referrals (could have been many, in my case - I have a neighborhood full of old houses and people looking for good service!). And, needless to say, I have not given my neighbor their business card.  
And to top it all off, my roof still needs repairs.

Chris Braswell was very friendly, knowledgable and thorough. He took pictures of the problems he found on the roof, showed them to me and explained his repair. Luckily my leaks turned out to be pretty minor repairs and at no time did he ever try to sell me anything else. He did tell me my chimney pan may need to be replaced at some point in the future because it is rusting (he also showed me the photo of that also) He gave me a price to do that and said when and if you want to replace it that would not be a problem. I would definitely use him again.

He is a real nice guy. They had a good attitude, very professional.

I got several estimates to repair a section of shingles on my roof and
went with Braswell Construction because of the information they were
able to provide me about the process and how the repair would go.  They
were also able to work with my schedule and the pricing was
competitive.  The salesman, David, was friendly and professional and
showed up on time Thursday afternoon.  He showed me again how he was
going to repair the section of shingles that had slid down the roof. 
The repair took a few hours and when he was done he told me he had
sealed a couple plumbing boots as well,  with no extra charge.  I'm
happy with the job they provided and would recommend them to anyone.
