Geoff inspected the roof and advised that sealing around vent should work until roof needed replacing, only a few years away. He inspected all the other vents as well, and would not accept a fee. Very professional. Will definitely use Braswell for future roofing needs!

The contractor was great -- very professional. He showed up on-time, did the repair work and showed me photos of the work he had done. Very thorough. We've had no problems since he did the repair.

During the month of April of 2013, we received a hail storm in our community and several homes were damaged. Immediately after the storm, I contacted our insurance agent and requested that they send someone out to inspected our home for any damages received during the storm. During their investigation they discovered that we had indeed received some damages to our property. After receiving several estimates from varies construction companies my husband and I narrowed it down to two company. After talking with Braswell Company's representative we were sold on the company's presentation, plus we visited and talked to others in the community who also used Braswell Construction Company for their repair work. They too were satisfied with the quality and the professionalism of the finish work performed by this company. Their representative was very professional and knowledgeable. He went over in detail the different types of shingles and helped us to decide on the best choice for the money we wanted to pay. In the process we added the gutter replacement to our contract. We were very pleased with the timing and the quality of the finished work. We felt that the company pricing were in line with the estimate that we received from the insurance company. We were very pleased with the finished work and we would recommend the Braswell Company to others who are in need of this type work. We gave them an "A" rating.

The roof inspection was a good learning experience for me and it was very helpful to be shown photos of what damage was being found, as well as how it looked after repair. The ventilation project was very quick and I hope it will extend the life of my roof.

The initial contact was immediate and we got them scheduled to come do a roof inspection very quickly. They came out, showed me everything that needed to be fixed immediately and some items that would need future repair. The repairs needing Immediate attention were made. I had a great experience with the guy who came to the house and actually did the work (David?). My next door neighbor asked for a referral (if I was pleased), so I got some business cards. I was feeling exceptionally positive at the time and would have easily given them an A rating .... However: The next day, the owner called to follow up and see how everything went, but I missed the call. I returned his call not too long afterward (couple days, maybe?) and got the voicemail -- in my message, I stated that I wanted to talk to them about a couple of the additional repairs that were mentioned during the inspection, one in particular that definitely needed to be fixed soon. I never heard from them again. Not really sure what that's about, but now I am feeling like I wouldn't want to go back to them for the additional work (even though the person who came to work on my house did a really great job, was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and helpful). It is very disappointing, especially considering how great everything went initially. I know that the repairs I need are small (in all regards, including price) in comparison to a whole new roof, but that shouldn't matter; business is business, and good business equals referrals (could have been many, in my case - I have a neighborhood full of old houses and people looking for good service!). And, needless to say, I have not given my neighbor their business card. And to top it all off, my roof still needs repairs.

Chris Braswell was very friendly, knowledgable and thorough. He took pictures of the problems he found on the roof, showed them to me and explained his repair. Luckily my leaks turned out to be pretty minor repairs and at no time did he ever try to sell me anything else. He did tell me my chimney pan may need to be replaced at some point in the future because it is rusting (he also showed me the photo of that also) He gave me a price to do that and said when and if you want to replace it that would not be a problem. I would definitely use him again.

He is a real nice guy. They had a good attitude, very professional.

I got several estimates to repair a section of shingles on my roof and went with Braswell Construction because of the information they were able to provide me about the process and how the repair would go. They were also able to work with my schedule and the pricing was competitive. The salesman, David, was friendly and professional and showed up on time Thursday afternoon. He showed me again how he was going to repair the section of shingles that had slid down the roof. The repair took a few hours and when he was done he told me he had sealed a couple plumbing boots as well, with no extra charge. I'm happy with the job they provided and would recommend them to anyone.

The resources that I spoke to had decent professionalism (initially), but they send the junior resource to act on this voucher. The roofer came within little to no tools (on bag of household tools), one ladder (which he couldn't get on top of the sub roofs), and had little to no knowledge about my roof. This is clearly a pay for a quick review of your roof, he will push down some nail pops, and put some sealant on your roof. He couldn't tell me where my leak was located, he stated he'd return the next day (Friday) with another ladder to get on subroof /take pictures but didn't and didn't call me until Saturday stating he couldn't find the issue. He then stated he'd send a installer and to let him know when I would be back home to come back out (I travel for work). I called him Wednesday of the following week to let him know to come back out Friday, and he stated he'd get the appointment scheduled. I called Friday morning at 10:30am and no appointment was scheduled and he hadn't even spoke to the installer to come out. This is a classic case of no experience, poor communication, poor follow up, and etc... I want a refund as this contractor couldn't perform the basic job of the deal. Don't was your time or money. If you already purchased a deal, get a refund. Note: I am a firm believer in not let one review make a reflect on a business, as thats just one customers experience (i get that). I'm honestly letting you know what happen to me and hopes this helps others avoid bad experience. More importantly, I called another contractor, and they found the issue the same day and have installers coming on Friday at 9am (per my schedule needs).

I was wowed with the job performed and would highly recommend Braswell Construction.

They did a great job. They did what they said they would do and came when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves, and there wasn't a nail in the yard.

Chris and Brian were very prompt in replying to our request for an estimate. Although we received additional quotes, Braswell was the most informative and helpful in dealing with the insurance company to help us get the job done. They walked us through the process and really let us know what to expect. They are great about returning phone calls and coming by on short notice. The job was done quickly and the clean up was great. They finished in the time they said they would and stuck to the schedule we agreed upon. I would recommend them to anyone for roof work and will use them for other construction projects.

I found this company on Angieslist and called them to get an estimate on my roof and shed. Within hours I received a phone call to setup a time to meet and was very impressed with the professionalism and promptness! He was very upfront and honest about what I needed or didn't need even though it may have meant that he would not get the job due to what my homeowner's insurance adjuster said. He is still going to work up some figures on my shed but advised me that I didn't need my entire roof replaced, but only needed a dozen shingles replaced instead. Being a single female he could have taken advantage of me and said I needed a entire roof but was very, very honest with me and that really means a lot in this bleak economy. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a company that will be honest, prompt, and upfront with you even if it means they would not get the work. That is the kind of company that I would love to deal with any time I needed any work done in the future. Please take the time to at least give them the opportunity to give you an estimate if you need any work done. You will not find anyone more professional or honest if you tried! Back in 2008, we filed a claim with the insurance company following a hail storm with visible to damage to our roof and car. The claim on the car was approved, but not on the roof. We requested a second look with a roofer present, but the insurance company was unyielding. Four years later and several roofers biding for the would be job, our 'Tree Guy' (Jason of AC Tree) recommended the Braswell Construction Group. After a thorough and comprehensive inspection by Chris Braswell, the claim was approved because of overwhelming proof. Chris and Jeff came over to the house and their presentation was educational,exceptional and compelling. They were prompt, polite, courteous and very professional. All of our questions and concerns were addressed satisfactorily. Following our selection of shingles and warranty, a contract was drawn and signed. After three days of rain delay, the job was completed in 2 days to our satisfaction and gratitude. The clean up was just as prompt and complete. Would not hesitate to hire the Braswell Construction Group for our future needs as they do more than roofing. And yes, would recommend the Group to friends and family.

Braswell Construction Group was the last company I received a quote from only because company #5 whom I wanted to hire did not follow through. I am so pleased that company did not respond because of the wonderful experience I had with Chris Braswell. Upon completion of a new roof and window replacement which I was very pleased with and as the drywall repair was about to take place, Chris noticed a water leak from my hot water heater which had caused mold and moisture damage, he immediately called his plumber who also did a great job in not only fixing that leak but finding another one. Because of the water damage Chris had to put in dryout fans and air purifiers before new drywall could be installed. Chris is certified by the IICRC in water and dryout repairs which I did not know at the time, but felt so fortunate to have the right man for the job and not have to search Angie's List for another company. He even assisted me with my insurance company to get everthing taken care of. Though it was stressful having commercial dryout fans and air purifiers for several days, he continued to check to make sure all was well and to assure me his crew would come in and make all of the necessary repairs. They arrived on time, did a great job with the drywall and clean up. All of these repairs took place between Thanksgiving and the week before Christmas, which definitely did not help my stress level, but because Chris was so efficient, professional and concerned I was able to enjoy my Christmas vacation knowing I wouldn't have to return to "home repairs". The customer service I received was the best. It's such a pleasure to know there are still companies like BCG that value and take care their customers. I will definitely use Braswell Construction Group again....a great experience!

Braswell Construction Group is a wonderful company. We never felt overly solicited or pressured into having our roof done. Brian was always punctual and professional whenever he came by. The work was completed as promised and it looks beautiful. There were several touch-up type issues that I pointed out and they were taken care of immediately. We were very pleased overall and will definitely be using them again for other projects.

I called about 15 roofers attempting to find someone to replace my roof. Of all the companies I called, Braswell Construction was the most professional. I never regretted the decision to use them once during the entire process. The whole team was great to work with and the skill set of the roofers was impressive. Everyone I came into contact with was so courteous and helpful, and they left the work site clean every day when they left. Because of the amazing work they did, I decided to use the company to put up a fence in my yard as well as other remodeling projects. I'll update my reviews as they complete projects. But as far as roofing, I would highly recommend the company to do quality work with truly skilled craftsmen. It's so nice to work with a company that still has customer service skills. UPDATE: When working on the roof, the gutters were damaged on my house. When I called Braswell to let them know I was having issues with my gutters, they said they would take care of it. It took a little while, but they finally came and did a great job! If you need gutters, I'd recommend this company as well. They did a great job. Only issue was the length of time it took to get fixed, but it was just a miscommunication issue.

We had hail damage and needed a new roof. Brian Braswell came out to our home and met with our insurance adjuster who at first was not sure if we had enough damage to warrant a new roof. Brian fought for us and got our new roof approved. He followed up every step of the way and was involved through out the process. The roof was completed in one day (4500 square foot home). We also had interior ceiling damage that they also repaired in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this company. They would not accept any payment until the project was 100% completed and we were satisfied. That was my first indication this company was as reputable as they claimed to be.

Brian Braswell and the crew arrived promptly Friday morning. They worked vigorously at the job all day. We were surprised by an afternoon 'pop-up' rain shower and the crew had to tarp one area of the roof, but continued working through the shower. They had to return the following day (Saturday) to complete the job. We found a couple of small leaks that showed up on the kitchen ceiling, due to the rain Friday, but these were addressed promptly and professionally. Brian had a crew of painters come in and paint the entire kitchen and dining room ceiling after the spots had dried. I could not be more pleased with the quality and professional courtesy provided by Braswell Construction. They went beyond their contractual obligation in attention to details. I would highly recommend them.

In July of 2012 our house unfortunately suffered severe wind and hail damage. Not sure of a good contractor to call we turned to our neighbors who had replaced their roof a year ago. They suggested "Braswell Construction Group". Our neighbor had told us how impressed they were with Chris and his company's professionalism and quality of work. From the first phone call to Chris I knew that we were in good hands. He promptly met with us and provided a thorough assessment of our roof damage. Chris met with the insurance adjuster and "walked" the roof side-by-side to ensure that the adjuster did not miss anything. Once our claim was approved Chris took the extra time with us to ensure that we understood our options and most importantly the roof system so that we were comfortable in knowing that our house would be protected for many years to come. The roof replacement went perfectly and we couldn't be more pleased with the product, service and quality of work. It is rare to find a company dedicated to providing professionalism, attention to detail, exceptional quality of work, and a high level of service. Kudos to Chris and his Team for making this process easy and worry-free.

Braswell Construction Group inspected my house for hail/wind damage after a major storm came through. We actually had shingles blown off the roof and knew that we would need to have it looked at. The rep for this company was very professional and honest. He helped us with our claim working directly with the insurance company and fought for us to get a new roof due to the age of the existing roof rather than shingle replacement and made this process so easy! It was a very pleasant experience working with this company. Mr. Brian Braswell did an excellent job of explaining the damage, the best route and product to take regarding the roof replacement. Everything went exactly as I was told that it would. The day of the job - the workers showed up early, got right to work and did a fantastic job with replacing our roof. They worked diligently from early morning until early evening to finish up the job. They took the time to move patio furniture and cover steps, etc to collect roof debris as they worked. After the roof replacement - I was pleasantly surprised to see them spend almost an hour just cleaning up. Sweeping my porches, my driveway, etc of debris and making sure that they were no nails left behind that we could run over with our tires. When they were done it looked as though they had never even been there....with the exception of the brand new, beautiful roof that they had just completed! I would highly recommend this company to anyone and will definitely use them again in the future should the need arise! If you choose this company - you will be greeted by professional, knowledgeable and experienced people. I found Braswell Construction on Angie's List read the good reviews of them. I called and left a message after business hours one day and Chris Braswell called me back early in the business day the next day. I told him that I had a leak and would like for someone to look at it to determine the problem and give me an estimate. He came out the same day and looked and determined that it was flashing needing caulking and fixed it himself at that time. He also took before, during, and after pictures and sent them to me, along with a report so that I would have documentation of the repair if I ever needed it. After my experience with Braswell Construction, I can understand why they have an excellent rating on Angie's List and will definitely call them again if I have other roofing problems.

Chris is fantastic to work with. Since he has a design background, he also gave me some good ideas and tips. I was comfortable with each crew he sent out and they were all willing to do anything it took to make sure I was satisfied. Work was done when they said it would be done.

During one of the big rainstorms last Spring, the ceiling in my rental house's sunroom collapsed. Upon further inspection, we found that the entire roof was completely shot. I called 3 contractors to come look at the house to see what needed to be done with the roof and the sunroom. I got 1 completely ridiculous offer for $21,000 from a guy who didn't even get on the roof, was stood up by one roofer that didn't even make our appointment, and Chris Braswell was the last to come give me an estimate. Chris came out to give me an estimate on the roof, and I knew immediately he would be the one I used. He took the time to get onto the roof and really look at the problem, explain and educate me on what I needed, and very patiently answered all of my questions. Once he gave me his recommendation, there was no pressure to use him and he didn't charge me any estimate fees. He was very frank in that he recommended that I call the insurance company to see if they would replace the roof due to hail damage, but he was sure to tell me that it was a long shot. He was right, and the insurance company turned me down. Throughout the whole process, he was there with me dealing with the adjuster himself, even walking around the roof with him. After the insurance turned me down, he gave me an estimate and gave me plenty of time to think about it. The work on the roof was completed 3 days after I gave him a green light. The gutters took a little longer, but it was fine because they weren't necessarily an emergency like the rest of the roof. Chris was always available to talk to through phone, text, or email. He always returned my calls. I really enjoyed meeting and working with Chris and his team. I felt like I could trust him and that he had my best interests in mind. I have already set up another meeting with him to give me an estimate on finishing the basement at my residence. I haven't even asked anyone else to come because I believe he will give me a fair price and do the work well.
