+ -1 moreI went in for what I thought was a typical brake job around 3:30 in the afternoon thinking it would on take a couple of hours at most. But the pads had dug deep into the rotors causing extra work and making the job take longer than they expected. They worked on the car and made sure that it was finished that day. They were even willing to stay after their normal hours of operation so I could get my car back the same day. Will take all my cars back when I need any kind of maintenance work done.

Description of Work: I took my vehicle in for a vacuum leak because my truck would not crank at all by this time . The staff was really nice and professional . When I got the truck back it was able to crank but the truck would idle up and down repeatedly , which is the same thing It was doing 2 months before It actually stopped cranking .

Description of Work: This system would not allow me to choose the correct year. But in 04 Installed dual exhaust on my dads 04 Dodge Ram as well as mine. The owner is an exhaust pipe bending genius. Great long lasting quality work. It's 2014 and had no problems out of the exhaust system.

+ 0 moreQuick. I bought my tires from AllStar so the tire rotation was free. The manager recommended I replace a scratched aluminum alloy wheel, but I declined. They usually recommend additional services, such as new air filter for engine or cabin--sometimes I buy what they recommend, if I think the recommendation is sound.

+ -1 moreWent back and told Larry about what happened and he say he did not understand how they could have made such a terrible mistake.......bottom line.... will never go there again
Description of Work: Our truck was brought to shop for 'ticking' noise, serpentine belt replacement, rotate tires, and check brakes. We received a call around 2:pm that we either had a bad valve or piston that the truck had to be put on the diagnostic reader to figure out which it was. this machine cost an extra $140 per our hr. my husband explained that both of us were unemployed and could not afford more than an hour which Larry agreed to. 1 1/2 hrs later, I called Larry and he said they could not determine which it was that the #2 piston was not getting enough pressure (100lbs - you need at least 120-140 lbs). they would have to take the engine apart for a cost of $1600 to determine which it is (piston or bad valve). We told him to do nothing else and the total cost end up to be $540. The original quote from them for the work to be done was $350. We took the truck somewhere else and there was nothing wrong with the piston - pressure was 140 lbs - problem was fuel injector was clogged fixed it for $4.00 cleaner fluid. What a rip-off from Allstar!
