They are exceptional. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done. They are the best. They are the best people we have ever worked with honestly. We have a service agreement with them which I buy every year for all 3 of our units. So it was a couple dollars. They are tops. We have been using them since 2008. They are fantastic. When they have done work it does not take more than an hour. It just required one person.

We have a maintenance agreement with them and so, I explained to the lady when we were using another company, they would always check our system before the start of the season and she was saying that the regular maintenance is not scheduled to like this week and so, I was a little disappointed because I thought that they would be checking the system before the winter start and before the summer start.  However, she ended up sending the serviceman out and I paid him $79 for him to check the system was okay, but I still have to bring him back out two weeks later for maintenance, which didn’t make a lot of sense to me.  The serviceman that came out was very good, very knowledgeable, but right now, I’m uncertain if I’m going to keep them as the maintenance people.

Our journey initially began through Home Depot (Project Specialist, Jason Karakas) had come to our home for a previous deck installation consult. I have to mention Jason because he gave us exceptional service and connected us to the company that performed the A/C installation. Zack Hammonds is that company; and I must say from the first in-home consult to the completed job they are simply the most polite and knowledgeable service techs I'd ever had the pleasure to meet. The Comfort Consultant, Dalyn Weibaker was personable and knowledgeable, he answered all our questions (there were many) no detail was overlooked or glossed over. In fact, every one we dealt with from Zack Hammonds was friendly over the phone as well as in person. Everyone was prompt , courteous and polite. We really appreciated the fact that they called after the appointment was made to confirm
when the techs were coming, we were assigned a Site Coordinator, and they followed up with an Install Foreman to make sure the workmanship and install was to spec and on point. Our home is now cool again; It was truly a pleasure doing business with this company!

The installation was performed in a very professional manner without any issues. The technicians did a superb job transitioning existing ductwork to the new Trane XR15 system. I observed the entire installation process and asked questions. They eagerly answered all of my questions. I was very satisfied with the knowledge, skills and ability of the technicians, which enabled them to flawlessly integrate the new system into my existing ductwork. The final installation looks really good and very professional. I also checked with my county office to ask if a permit was required to replace an existing air conditioner and furnace. One was required and I therefore I obtained a permit. The installation passed county inspection without any issues. I would recommend each person check with his or her appropriate office to see if a permit is required and who will obtain it you or your contractor. The overall experience was very good and I am very satisfied with the appearance of my system and how it works. And, I highly recommend Zack Hammonds.

In Summer 2010 I decided to finish out my basement. To do this, I needed to have an HVAC system installed. I then had 5-6 HVAC companies perform on-site surveys and estimates. But, as I continued to research HVAC systems and listen to these company installation proposals, it became apparently clear to me some of these companies weren't providing me the best solution to meet the HVAC needs of my basement. Zack Hammonds did not do this. They gave me an honest assessment of what would best provide appropriate heating and cooling for my basement. Their professionalism and sincerity was obvious from the start. For this I am very appreciative. There were absolutely no comparison between the professionalism, expertise, and integrity received from Zack Hammonds as compared to the other HVAC companies. The entire installation process, from estimate to finish out, was extremely pleasant and handled in a very professional manner by both competent management and highly skilled technicians. In short, they did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. Following installation, I also obtained maintenance service plans for both my new and pre-existing systems. All services have been flawless!

The salesman, Marcus Proctor, arrived on time, discussed our needs, inspected all existing equipment and fixtures, determined HVAC needs based on existing equip, and house sq. ft., and at our request, made several estimates with different capacity units, so we could decide what best fitted our situation and price. He was pleasant, informative, and non-pressure. We had other estimates from another company, and quickly decided to work with Marcus both from a price and gut feeling standpoint. We had Marcus come out again to discuss several questions we had. He agreed to increase the return supply and replace the single wall flue with double wall with no increase in price. The installers were friendly, worked hard, and even stayed late the first day to make sure we had an operating furnace before they left at 8pm. This company understands customer service, and truly exceeds what we have experienced in the past. Mgr followed up to inspect work and get our feedback.

They were punctual, polite, and professional. They did a good job. The work was completed in the way I wanted it to be. I would recommend them to others!
