Jason diagnosed the problem in a few minutes. Said he had to get the part and he would be back asap. He returned quickly and replaced the part. The entire job (arrival to departure) took less than 2 hours.

Charged $350 to replace valve to correct rushing sound through pipes. Job took well under 2 hours to complete. Several months later issue returned.

"I am sorry to hear that after 2 years you decided to give a poor review of my services. The noise your PRV made was not due to my installation, it was from the piece of hardware itself. Since I do not manufacture PRVs I can't help that it made a noise after installation, which I repaired at no additional cost to you as it is just a simple adjustment and is common on new installations. As far as price goes, I charge by the job not by the hour, same as my competition. My prices are more than fair as you can see by the other reviews here and elsewhere. Do I charge more than a handyman? Yes. I am NOT a handyman, I AM a Class II Master Plumber (highest level obtainable) so I do charge more than someone using you as on the job training. Another interesting note is that once I did adjust your new PRV you have not had any further issues with it so I must have done something right after all. I am sorry that you feel that you were not given a better price but you did know the price upfront and you did approve the work to be done. I don't hold anyone hostage and make them pay me. I am not a high pressure sales person in the slightest. I quoted a price and you accepted. I did what I said I would do for the price quoted. I didn't bait and switch as is common in my industry. I DO appreciate your business and am sorry that you would not use me again. Since I don't feel I did anything wrong in our dealings, I can't apologize for my work or my business ways as I know that my track record speaks for itself. Good luck to you in your future endeavors and I hope that if you have other plumbing needs that you may reconsider using The Plumbing Detectives. I am here to help! Jason did a great job. He returned my call immediately. He was able to repair the garbage disposal the same day that I contacted him. His knowledge on the product was unbelievable. Before coming to my home, he asked me the brand of the existing garbage disposal. I was unable to provide him the information. By providing him the year my house was built, he knew the brand and the model that was needed. Jason provided the new garbage disposal at the same price that retail stores charge for the item. He completed the job timely and efficiently. He provided suggestions and recommendation on proper use of the new garage disposal. Jason even answered questions that I had regarding other plumbing concerns in my home. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I will contact Jason for future plumbing issues that I have. New Years Eve night........my shower stopped up for some reason.......didn't think much of it. Went downstairs to do laudry and my ceiling (which is below the bathroom) was dripping! OH NO! So, long story short.......a portion of my ceiling collapsed and we had water and drywall and yuck everywhere. I googled "emergency plumbers 30033" and found The Plumbing Detectives. I knew I didn't want to go with one of the major chains, as they rob you blind and then some. So, I was thankful when Jason Webb answered his phone on a holiday afternoon. Due to MY schedule, we arranged for him to come out on the 2nd at 9am.
Jason arrived on time, was extremely professional and friendly, went right to work and knew what he was talking about. He never talked above my level of understanding and made sure all my questions were answered. He diagnosed the problem quickly and referred me to a fellow associate of his who did the work I needed. He found out how much that individual would charge me and everything in advance. Very professional! Here's the clincher. Before Jason left, he refused to let me pay him, as he said he didn't do anything except give advice. I was floored. I am so used to everyone having their hand out and expecting something I just didn't know what to say.
Turns out Jason's assessment was correct......clogged sewer pipe. His associate cleared the clog by "jetting" it out. Worked like a charm.
Well, later in the day, after Jason's associate had come and done the work and left, it appeared to me that there was still a slow leak in the pipe. It was still dripping. So, I called Jason. He was so kind and set up a time for him to come back out to the house again the very next day to take a look.
Jason arrived on time and worked for over an hour.....and could not get the pipe to leak! He tried everything and it would not leak. So, he didn't charge me again. This was now TWO TRIPS and several phone calls to Jason and I still haven't paid him a dime. Jason is a Master Plumber 2nd class (I think that's how you say it)......which is the highest designation available. So, he is a top professional in his field. He doesn't have time to be tinkering and not getting paid. But yet, he says he didn't do anything but give advice, so he didn't charge me for it.
Yes, he says that eventually I will need to have some work done that will cost me in the ballpark of $900......and he hopes that I will call him to do the work.........well, you can BET I will. Jason is already programmed in my phone and he will be my first call. I have already raved about him to several friends and neighbors and will continue to do so. He is fantastic, and I highly recommend him.

The guy that came was good in what he does. I recommend him to other. His prices are fair and we have not had to call him for the same work again. He does very good work and shows up on time. He is very punctual which is unusual in this business. I will definitely use them again in the future.
