I had the most amazing experience with this company! From the very first phone call to the ones following up to see if I was really loving and enjoying my windows!
Two gentlemen came out one day and measured all of my windows to make sure that everything was written down and taken care of correctly. I was told that they would be back in contact with me, when the windows were made. Even before the windows were finished, one of the owners of the company kept calling me letting me know what stage the process was in with my windows. He kept in contact with me the whole time. He kept me in the loop and an active part of what was going on.
When the windows were finished, One of the owners reached out to me again, and explained the process, as to how the windows were going to be installed. He explained that the gentleman that would be heading up that crew would call me and set up an appointment time. True to the owners word, the crew chief called me and set up a time for the 25th of August 2014. When my appointed time arrived, there was no crew to install my new windows. However, within 20 minutes the crew chief called and informed me of some circumstances that had come up and that they would be coming by later, which they did. The circumstances were uncontrollable, so I understood the reason they were late. I was just delighted to get a courtesy call, as most companies just leave you hanging until they get there!
When the crew got to my home, they immediately started moving furniture, or whatever else was in the way of the windows, placed them all in a safe area of my home, put a thick plastic sheet down on the floor in front of the windows, and proceeded to take the windows out. I asked about the plastic sheet, and the crew chief explained to me that it was just in case they had to break the window to get it out, so the glass wouldn't damage the floor.
They took such care with my everything in my home, including my aide and I. You see, right now, I'm in a wheelchair, and I have an aide that comes in for 2 hours 3 days a week. They were mindful of me and of my aide when she came in. They made sure that my aide and I had the space that we needed to get round and get some small things done, as well as getting their work done also.
When the crew was finished installing the windows, they hauled off all the trash that was accumulated from the job, and then they told me that a clean up crew would be following behind, them, to finish the job. In my mind it didn't click the first couple of times when they told me who would be coming, and when it did, I was delighted and if I had been able at that time, I would have danced like David danced in the Bible. You see, the clean up crew was the owner I had been talking on the phone with all this time, and his brother, the other owner. I felt like a queen hearing that. I only know of one other company whose owner does get down and dirty with the crew? That just showed me exactly how serious they are about their company and how they care enough about their crew, to help them in any way that they could. Now, this by no way means that the owners come out to every job and do the clean up, but it just so happened that God worked it out that way for me!
Okay, here come the owners, and they set about rehanging all the blinds, only to find out that some of the clips had been broken, so off to HomeDepo one of them goes to replace the broken clips, at no charge to me. When he returned, one of the blinds fell on his head and damaged the blind. Do you know what happened then? He measured my window, and replaced the blind in my window, and again it as at no cost to me. What kind of a company is so self conscious that they would do that for a customer? Then they let me know that it was my turn to help them. I got to BOSS the OWNERS around by telling them where everything went, to put it back in it's proper place. However, I wasn't able to remember exactly how everything went, but that didn't matter to them, as we were having such a good time! You know what? The way that everything got put back into place, fit better than it had before!
This was just a fun and heart warming experience, and I ended up with some new friends, for LIFE!!!
