Recovery Roofing repaired our roof, and we were pleased with our encounters with Joseph and his employees. Promises were fulfilled and communication was great. Then my mother had a tree fall through her roof, so we called Recovery Roofing and were so thankful for their help with replacing the entire roof and repairing tree damage. We trust this company and believe you will be amazed with their work.

We are so pleased with the overall experience with Joseph and his crew. The roof was completed in less than a full day. They were punctual and professional and left no trace that they were there other than the beautiful roof. I can't speak highly enough about Joseph. He is very professional and honestly one of the nicest contractors i have ever met. The roof was for my parents house who are both disabled and in their 90s. Joseph was so courteous and patent with my father who is very hard to please and asked so many questions and Joseph not only was kind to him, but took the time to explain and make my father feel part of the process which is very important to him even though he isn't able to do a lot anymore. H He listened to his old war stories and my dad really liked him as well and was very pleased with the overall job Joseph and his team did with his roof. I have already told my friends about Recovery Roofing and Joseph and while it is never good news to replace a roof. He made the experience painless. Out of all the local roofers I got estimates from, Joseph was hands down the representative for the roofing company that I wanted to put a new metal roof on our cabin. The whole team was always prompt, courteous and professional. Joseph explained the many different metal roofing options and which ones would work best for our application. And as a pleasant surprise, the best option was not the most expensive. We are very pleased with how the roof turned out and will definitely use and recommend Recovery Roofing in the future.

I highly recommend Recovery Roofing. They came recommended to me by other people in my neighborhood , he has roofed 12 houses in my neighborhood. Joseph came to my house and gave me a estimate on my damaged roof . I had problems with my insurance company and he worked with me on that. I ended up getting my entire roof replaced. Hard working , honest , great price with great warranty. You just do not see that much these days. Everything was done as he stated and roof looks great. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM

They were not able to pinpoint the exact leak, but did fix several issues - cut several shingles that had too much overlap, caulked around skylight, and cleared some built up debris. They stood on the roof for at 20 minutes with the hose to see if it was still leaking, so hopefully it's good.

The old roof on my house was leaking, and the separate garage had OSB boards rotting along the edge of the roof. Joseph came out and did the estimate. He was punctual, and spent time investigating where the leak could be. He eventually found where a nail had popped through. He went up in the attic to investigate what damage may have been done to the wood on the roof underneath the shingles. He found the little spot of wet wood. The wood looked ok. He explained that the piece of trim at the top of the fascia board was designed to keep the shingles from curling. That piece of trim (it looked like a 1 x 1) was looking a little rotten. He explained he could replace that trim, or remove it and install a drip edge. He studied the rotten areas on the garage. It appeared that the ends of the plywood boards had been replaced, but the repair pieces were now rotten. Joseph explained the probable cause of them rotting – the water would come down the roof, and get to the end of the shingle and the edge of the wood, and it would just soak in like a sponge. He explained that he could fix it back the way it had been, but that it would probably rot out again. He said the repair would last longer with a fascia board and/or a drip edge. He explained the different grades of drip edge. Joseph is very knowledgeable. He explained various options – 3-tab or architectural, drip edges, wind turbine vents, ridge vents, gable vents, and soffit vents, underlayment. We talked quite a bit, and he answered all my questions, and explained things. He gave the pros and cons of a number of variables. He wrote up a detailed estimate, and answered questions about the difference in cost for some of the variables. The contract included remove & replace 4 sheets of plywood – included; install 54 LF of fascia sealed & painted; install drip edge around entire perimeter (house and garage); architectural shingles. That helped me compare his estimate to other estimates I had received. When I asked him to do the roof job, he got me on his calendar. When he found he could do the job a few days sooner, he called to see if that was ok. He said he didn’t want to rush me, but his team was available. He had a great team of workers. They were busy and worked well with each other. They caught most of the old debris in large blue tarps. If they weren’t on the roof nailing or snapping a chalk line, they were carrying shingles or running the big magnets around and picking up the little pieces of trash. My driveway looks cleaner now than when they pulled in this morning. They did a great job, and were done in one day. I would hire them again, but I think this roof is going to be beautiful for a long time. I will refer them to my friends. They are licensed to work in both Alabama and Georgia. I had been dreading getting my roof done because my friends had nothing good to say about roofers in Columbus. I am thankful that Joseph and his team are ethical professionals who want to do the best job for you, at a price that is very reasonable.

Worked with our request very well. Best way to say it on time and on budget

Joseph was very polite when I called him. He told me he couldn't come out that day but would come first thing in the morning, which he did. He checked the attic to see where the leak was coming from and found that there was a black spot around the pipe. Then he went up on the roof and did an inspection from above. He said he would need to replace a section of the sheeting around the pipe, replace the shingles removed for the repair and the boot around the pipe. Since he could not get anyone to come out until the following day and there was a 50% chance of rain that day, he put on a tarp. They came out the next day and completed the repair. It was so nice to have a contractor come out when they said they would, especially since we live out in the country. When we need the roof. Recovery Roofing will be the first one I call.
