The order was placed online through FTD. This is the local provider that FTD chose. There were three arrangements to be delivered, but at 9:15 pm my husband, who placed the order, was phoned by the florist and they wanted to know if the flowers needed to be delivered that day or could they do it tomorrow. My husband told them he had placed the order more than 24 hours in advance and that they should be delivered on Valentine's Day. Forty-five minutes later I had three arrangements (one for me, and one for each of my daughters); one arrangement with tulips looked very nice, but the other two with roses were in very poor shape. A couple of the red rose buds were black and getting crusty on the upper half and the smaller pink roses had brown edges on quite a few of them. These were not fresh or had been out of water for awhile. They may have been sitting out all day for as poor as they looked. This is the second year my husband, who is overseas, had ordered flowers, and this is the second, and last time, we will pay for such bad quality.
