I've used Shirley's tax services for the past several years ( I was single then).  I married my wife during December of 2015 and this year prescheduled our appointment with Shirley who was prompt, professional, and helped us determine the best tax filing method for our situation. 
Shirley and her son (Jerald) have been in business for 20 years and offer one on one consultations.  They are knowledgeable on the most current tax codes, they value their customers time, and work hard to adhere to a timely schedule.  Their office environment is very cohesive, and offers for private consultations.  One thing we like is unlike some tax offices that use a scanning program to extract values from documents to populate certain fields on electronic tax forms, Shirley and her son do NOT use this method.  Shirley requests the documents i.e. W2's, advalorem tax, charitable contribution forms, etc. in the order she needs to input them into her system.  She has always allowed me to ask questions or add input when I was unsure of certain documents.  Once she has gathered all of your information she double checks her work and then electronically files both your state and federal taxes at no additional charge.  Her rates are very reasonable, she safeguards her clients information leaving no previous client's papers on her desk, document shredders at an arms reach, and never discusses the names of her other clients.  She is open year round as she offers CPA work for small businesses (though we don't have a small business to use her for).  My wife and I plan to use Shirley's services for many years to come.
