Description of Work: My mother's 2000 Lincoln Continental Town Car suddenly wouldn't start and we had it towed here. They replaced the fuel pump to no avail but did have me call an engine shop down the street who correctly diagnosed the problem as the fuel regulator. Fred discounted his costs because of the bad diagnosis.

Description of Work: Installed 4 new tires; diagnosed vibration and replaced motor mount; checked and serviced poorly cooling a.c. Nick, the mechanic working on the car, called me 2-3 times to report on the findings and to confirm my wishes about the work to be done. So far, I'm very pleased with the performance of the car, and was very favorably impressed by my experience with Fred's.

Description of Work: I have been going to Fred's for about 30 years now and Fred is one of the nicest people I've ever dealt with. In that period of time there has been a couple of small mistakes but Fred made it right as soon as you questioned it. For instance one time they put the 350 tire on my 250 Altima, which is really no big deal, but as soon as we noticed it Fred took care of the problem.

The people are very honest, respectful, and give you advice. I do not dislike anything about them. We have not had any bad service with them whatsoever.
Description of Work: We use Fred’s Tire Center quite a bit. They had done oil changes for us. We had bought tires from them. They did front-end alignments and rotating tires for us.

 + -1 moreThey asked me to drop it off early. I did so. Fred's provided me transportation to my job. When it was discovered that the needed part was not available at the dealership nor any of the parts stores in town they called me so I wouldn't be stranded. The parts were located in Baton Rouge, La. and arrived the next day. I picked my Tahoe up and am very happy with their friendliness, service, communication, knowledge, and professionalism.
Description of Work: They replaced brake line damaged due to another provider putting the exhaust too close to the line, and burned through it.

 + 0 moreTurns out it wasn;t a repeat of the previous problem, just a dead battery - which was a relief. They replaced the battery and checked everything over just to make sure all was okay before calling me. I appreciated their honesty; for years I've heard from a number of good friends that Fred's was the only place in town they took their cars for service and I can understand why.
Description of Work: My truck died in the driveway one afternoon, and it sounded like a breakdown I'd had a few years back which turned out to be an expensive repair with another company. I called Terry at Fred's Tires, he told me the towing company they use, and that afternoon the truck was towed to Fred's.
