Owner (Danny Renfroe) came to the house to do the estimate of the job. He was very professional and friendly to deal with and an approximate start time was established. On day of installation crew arrived about 6:30 am. They laid out tarps all around the house. The old shingles were removed in about 2 hrs. They left the existing roofing felt on the house. They began by applying a blue synthetic fabric over the entire house. Then they put the metal valleys in place. Architectural shingles (rustic black) were installed by several men at different locations at the same time. Some men were carrying shingles up the ladders. Some men were picking up shingles and other debris. Ridge vents were added to top off the roof. By 2:30 pm the roof was completed. They took a short lunch break, and thoroughly cleaned up around the house. All-in-all a very professional hard working crew. I highly recommend Danny Renfroe and his crew.

The roofing work and the clean up was done very well. I wish that they had told us a little bit ahead of time that we needed to worry about some of the plants around the base of the house. We could have moved some things. The clean-up was very good. The price was right on and I think it was a good price. It wasn't inexpensive, but looking at three other people that came to the house, it was reasonable. I think the roof is a good roof. They should have given us a heads up on moving some of the plants. They were here on time, they were here when they said they would be. I think they are professional, they had paperwork, and they did things in a professional way.

About 8 years ago we needed the roof replaced on an older house that we had purchased. After getting some recommendations we went with Danny. Responded quickly, gave a fair estimate, scheduled the date. Here's what surprised me - I came home in the evening of the scheduled date and saw no debris container in the driveway. I was like "Oh Great, the guy didn't show". Then I looked up at the roof and was completely new. Crazy. Talked to my stay-at-home neighbor and she said "Yeah, they had like 12 guys up there, took them a few hours" . Again, Crazy. Really good job, only complaint was that there were A LOT of spilled nails in the yard that I had to clean up. 
Round 2 - Fast forward to Early November of 2015 - lots of rain - could see a stain in the ceiling of the sunroom. Not overly concerning, but needing attention. Sent a couple of guys out, couldn't figure it out. Rains that night, bigger stain. Took another 3 or 4 day of me pestering him before the next rain to get them to respond again. The same guys came out, seemingly figured it out and after they had left, Danny himself came by to check on it, no charge of course. So far, so good.
So, to sum up -
Initial service - Prompt, well done, fairly priced (see above clean up caveat) 
Follow Up Service - A little slow, not particularly efficient, but no charge...

Roofing job was good. Replacement of soffit and fascia required constant inspection and corrections as the job progressed, but was good when completed.  
 Our concern is with a leak around the chimney that has been a recurring problem since the new roof was installed.  Mr. Renfroe and/or his crew have made several patches, but leaking always returns,  The leak most recently returned in August 2015 and Mr. Renfroe's son came out on August 12, 2015, made a temporary fix to the leak (which did not hold) and gave us an estimate on removing a portion of the roofing, installing an ice/water shield, replacing what is now damaged plywood and replacing shingles.  We have been trying since August 12, 2015 to get the work done.  Mr. Renfroe has given us three dates that he would be at our home to review the issue and schedule the work.  Mr. Renfroe did not show up on any of those dates and did not contact us before, during or after the appointed time to let us know he would not appear.  We have made numerous phone calls over the past 4 months (too many to count), left messages and Mr. Renfroe is just not responsive.  The last phone call we made was to ask Mr. Renfroe to recommend another roofer if he doesn't have time to make the repair.  As of today, December 7, 2015, Mr. Renfroe has not responded.  After Mr. Renfroe roofed our house, we recommended Renfroe Roofing to two other clients and he replaced roofs on both of those homes.  We cannot recommend Renfroe Roofing again.

Crew showed up a day early and completed the job before I even knew they had started.  When I got home it was dark and the only way I knew the job was done because of some "roof shingle pebbles."   The cleaned up very well.
Had to call because skylight was not replaced.  Was told it was on back order.  It was installed a few days later, but it was not tinted or opaque like my previous one.   We still wanted it dark. Called owner and he said he could order one like our previous one but it was a plastic material and much cheaper.   He volunteered to order the more expensive one with a heavily tinted copper tint.  Do not expect any issues and look forward to doing more business with him in the future.

I was completely amazed at how well the crew cleaned up after replacing my roof. If it has not been for the new shingles I would not have known they'd even been to my house.

Replaced roof on home damaged by hail

Mr. Renfroe gave us a good estimate for the work, and we went with him as the next estimate was considerably more expensive. I needed some minor wood replacement so he included woodwork in the estimate. The roof was done in one day and in good order. They worked around a screen room that was recently built with no problems. If we only had the roofing replaced, I would have been very happy with the job and given him all As and Bs. The fellas that did the initial woodwork, however, were obviously not carpenters and not even familiar with basic woodworking - the edges did not meet, were not the same width and were not painted. It was totally unacceptable. If he would have taken just a little time to look over the job when initially done, he would have caught the problems himself.
The main problem I had with Mr. Renfroe is that it took several phone calls and weeks to get him to come over to the house and check out the problem. He was reluctant to do so and wanted to charge more if a carpenter was needed to fix it. This reluctance and indfference to customer satisfaction plus the long delay in getting the fix are why I would not recommend this roofing company. Setting up an appointment to get him to come over was difficult and he wanted to stop by when convenient for him; this was not convenient for us at all! After lots of prodding, Mr. Renfroe did get to the house, agreed that the woodwork was totally substandard, and he hired someone to fix the woodwork and paint it at no further cost to us.
The end result is a beautiful roof but it took a lot more effort on my part than it should have. If a fast, low-cost reroofing job is what you are looking for, then Mr. Renfroe may work for you - but ensure you do a thorough inspection and withhold payment until everything is in order. I will not call him again due to the unresponsiveness and seemingly low-priority on customer satisfaction.

They did a wonderful job with the roofing. I got an architectural work, which was more expensive because I wanted a better roof. It costs more but it will last up to 30 years. It is much heavier and it works much better. It would be a selling point for me in the next few years. They were very gracious and timely. I got 4 names from the list. The first one that I talked to told me told me it will take two and a half weeks before they can give me an estimate. I left three messages with the second one. They never returned to us because they were so busy. I did not want to wait. The third one said it would take at least six weeks. I wanted a design in a timely pressure and Renfroe did that. I am 70 years old, walks with a cane and has six implants. I think they were sympathetic with my situation. They did not tie me up for weeks. He said it was not a large house, it was 18x28. He said he would squeeze me in and he did. They did it within a week and a half by the time I first spoke to him. I just had a minor problem. I had a part of the roof that needed to be replaced. The guy that was suppose to do that did not show up. So, I finally called Shane and told him that my son in law wanted to do the work. I would not send that guy here again. The problem that I had was just an add on but the roofing was good. Their price was reasonable.

The job went very well. Our communications were done over the phone, as i live in TX. My Realtor reviewed the work and sent pictures to me before the bill was settled. It looked great. Danny did exactly what he said he would do. Actually, he saw an issue that he and I had not previously discussed, and made the repair. I offered to increase the payment, but he told me it was a minimal amount and included it in the agreed price. I would reccomend Danny for any roofing work.

I will just say that during and after the last hard rain, not a drop of water entered my home from the roof or chimney.

They did a fine job. They've been reluctant to come back and fix one particular thing. It was a very high quality job. Overall, I was well pleased.
