Chattahoochee Garage Door

Both jobs were completed quickly and professionally. They responded the same day as called. Their procedure is to send out an appraiser to assess the damage and provide an estimate for repair. He then contacts the service tech to schedule the work, often done the same day. We were very pleased with the quick response, professionalism, quality of workmanship, and price. We have used them twice and will recommend them to friends and family.

My wife and I began experiencing problems with one of the openers for our two car garage.  It appeared the sensors for one of the doors was not sending or receiving the beam correctly.  When the beam would transmit and the door was closed it would begin coming down and suddenly stop to auto reverse itself.  Other times while trying to open the door it would not open at all causing the overhead lights to flash in a fast series.  Our door opener seemed to be developing a mind of its own deciding when it wanted to work and not work.  I tried cleaning the sensors (removing spider webs, dust, etc.) but this in our opinion never helped.  After the tiring ordeal of having to manually open and close the particular door we called Chattahoochee Garage Doors the morning of March 21, 2016.  Gary stated he would come out shortly before noon of the same day to review our situation.  When Gary arrived in a truck labeled with Chattahoochee Garage Doors he was very professional introducing himself and quickly getting his ladder, and a few miscellaneous tools for the inspection process.  Unfortunately I was told the opener was going bad, and had lived the better part of it's life seeing as how the date code showed it being in excess of 10 years old.  Gary gave me some estimates and told me I could call him back after my wife and I decided our course of action.  After hearing our estimate my wife reminded me we had a coupon for Chattahoochee Garage Doors and we called Gary back to discuss when he could dispatch a crew to perform a replacement.  Gary stated he could add us to the list for a same day replacement that would be completed before 5:30 p.m., when I told him we had a coupon and wanted to know if it applied to the model opener he was proposing to install he stated I would have to call the shop and run that information by Barry.  Barry stated our coupon could in fact be applied to the Liftmaster 8550 MYQ model, and since we were considering having both openers replaced (not knowing when the other one would go bad) he would be able to reduce the price by an additional $50.00.

I called to arrange a time to meet and agreed on a time that was convenient to me.  The manager arrived on time, was courteous, professional, and determined my problem.  He also offered several options to solve my problems explaining what they were.  In retrospect, he offered a low cost option and a top end solution but no middle price option. However I did not ask for this either.  I chose the higher priced option.  I was impressed that the work was completed the same day with high quality.  I didn't get another quote so I am not sure how competitive the price was but I feel it was fair for the amount and quality of work provided.  Fantastic experience overall.

Gary came within 2 hours to verify everything we wanted and to see what was needed so the techs would have the items on their truck.  Within 2 hours after that, Brandon and Patrick arrived.  We had the spring on one garage door replaced, preventive maintenance on 2 doors, an outside key pad installed, and 2 new openers.  We were not pressured for any purchases at any time.  Everyone we came in contact with was professional, friendly, and very quick!  We didn't know about the 5% discount and we definitely would have qualified for that.

The manager showed up within 2 hours of my call to "scope" out the issue. Quoted me a price (on the website there is a 5% discount for seniors--He said he already gave it to me when I asked for it.  Others that had the same work done on this site paid the same--were they all seniors?), had me upgrade to a better grade of spring with 5 year warranty. Tried to sell me a new garage door opener. Said I would wait until my present one goes bad. Very friendly guy. His 2 techs were here in about an hour. They too were very friendly. Took them about 30 minutes to install it. Works like a charm. Even though I don't feel I got the 5% discount, the service was excellent and will use them again if I need any additional garage door work done.

We had 2 garage doors that were not working properly.  We had another company look at them and they were unable to fix.  They wanted to totally re-wire them and our house is only 4 years old.  Chattahoochee came to Auburn the very next day after I called.  As agreed on, their technician called ahead of time so that someone could meet him at our house.  Within 30 minutes he had both doors working like new and they have been doing great for 5 days now.  Thank you so much and we will definitely keep your contact information in case something comes up again in the future!

I have had a reocurring problem with one of my garage doors that I have attempted to repair on several occassions.  After I finally accepted the fact that my door was in need of professional help, I called Chattahoochee Garage Door which I found here on this website.  They scheduled a site visit the same day, and met me after work at my home.  During the visit, they identified several other issues that were the result of old age and neglect, and recommended that I have them serviced.  The next day their technicians came to my house to conduct the repairs.  My garage doors work perfectly, and I would highly recommend this company to work on your garage doors.

The sales person and workers were excellent. They were really good.

I contacted Chattahoochee Garage at approximately 7:50 a.m. on 11/21/2013 after having a fiasco with my garage door on the night of 11/20/2013.  Gary returned my call and stated that he could come evaluate the situation and provide me with an estimate within approximately 20 minutes.  He arrived as promised and did a thorough inspection and assessment of the situation.  I was offered 2 options : (1) a "patch" job, which would temporarily correct the problem; or (2) a completely new system, which would include replacement of all parts (door, tracks, spring, key pad, etc). Gary did not pressure me to choose either option, but patiently explained the difference in the price & warranty for both.  As my system was original to my home (over 25 years old), and there were newer safety features offered with the new system, I opted for option (2).  Gary scheduled the technicians to come install my new system at 12:00 noon the same day.  They arrived at 11:39 a.m. (20 minutes early) and immediately went to work.  They were professional, pleasant, courteous, and respectful of me and my home.  They worked diligently and within 3 hours, I had an entirely new system.  They cleaned up after themselves, removing all debris from the removal of the old system, and thoroughly explained the operation and functions of the new system they had installed.
I am 150% pleased with the work performed by Chattahoochee Garage Door and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install, repair, or replace their garage door.  You will definitely not be disappointed!

Barry, came out and performed the work professionally and explained the noise and informed me of my options in the near future. There were no  pressure sales tactics,  just good sound information and I appreciated that from a company. I will refer this company to friends and will continue to do business with them.
