The project went well from start to finish. The contractor offered suggestions and feedback on what would and wouldn’t work. My neighbors have been complimenting my yard! I am immensely satisfied!

Fantastic. Kevin and his crew have been awesome. They created 4 hardscaped tiers on the hill and installed a paver patio at the top and landscaped with interesting plants. They even re-routed some fencing that even 7 different fence companies said they couldn't / wouldn't do. They kept the workspace clean and clear the entire project. Responsive and professional. Highly, highly recommended.

I was the best decision i have made. Kevin McHale the boss and his crew were so professional and knowledgeable. They share their knowledgewith me and were the hardest worker I have ever seen. They arrived at the time they stated they would and the price was great especially for the job they did. I was so happy and impressed with them. I would hire them again for future projects. Anyone looking for a project you need to call River City patio and garden.

Kevin and his team were fantastic from beginning till end. They worked through terrible weather and it's aftermath on the yard. They did all this while still meeting his quoted timeline and price. Really, I cannot recommend River City Patio And Garden enough.

Great experience with Kevin and his team. They were punctual and well priced. We had issues with other companies not returning calls, but with River City Patio and Garden that was never a thought. They did a great job and we would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Home had a major drainage issue because of original building issues. Kevin came out and discussed the situation with us in detail. He fully explained what was needed and why. It was completed on time and within budget. It looks far better than we hoped. Also, while working the project Kevin fixed a problem with a garden wall and did a fantastic job with it too. He has definitely earned all of the awards noted by Angie's List. We will definitely use him again and recommend him to all. Great job by a great person.

It all went OK. They did leave a few areas that weren't properly edged or cleaned up, but all in all it was very punctual very nice people.

CALL THE GENTLEMEN UP AND IT TOOK 2 CALLS FOR HIM TO FINALLY COME OUT. DID THE WORK WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS. DID NOT LEAVE ME A RECEIPT, HAD TO GO GET ONE FROM ONLINE.

Kevin worked with us to fix the drainage issues and work within our budget. He created a great design and did the parts that we could not do.

River City is terrific to work with. Not only are they punctual and professional, but they do a great job! I have elevated sprinklers that spray my garden. I wanted to be able to turn the individual sprinklers on/off as necessary. Kevin installed faucets on each sprinkler to do that. He also showed me how to adjust my sprinkler heads on my own, which is REALLY helpful. He also repaired some sprinkler heads in my garden as well as on my lawn. Overall, a great job.

Kevin was prompt  and punctual.  He responded with my estimate as scheduled and a week later the job was done.  He had about 4 men that did the job which took a day and the next morning.  I had issues with that side of the house landscape with surface water from rain and also during summer with  air conditioning water draining and leaving lots of surface water.  Not much grass is growing on that side of the house  The guys placed a French drain from the front of the A/C to the back of my fence in the backyard. 2 downspouts were placed to current gutter drains. River rocks were then used for landscape  throughout the walkway between my house and neighbor's and went towards the gate of the backyard..  The landscape turned our beautiful . I am very pleased. The initial contact was prompt and very promising. Next, the provider forgot about me and the job. I contacted the provider, reminded him I still needed the work done. and supplied measurements of the area that needed the straw. I was not really pleased with the work; the straw was not spread evenly and did not cover the base of the plants. I re-distributed the straw so that the base of the plants were covered.

Kevin met with my parents several times before the actual work took place.  He was punctual and very professional.  He did not act rushed, but instead really wanted to understand what my parents were seeking for a new patio space.  If, which rarely occurred, Kevin could not make the stated appointment time due to unexpected work at another site, he always notified them about the delay.  During the initial meetings, Kevin developed yard designs and then changed them according to my parents' wishes so when the work was to be completed, they knew exactly what to expect.  His workers arrived the first day, on time and every day after that when they were scheduled to work at my parents' place.  My parents commented a number of times on how hard Kevin's staff worked, how diligent they were about cleaning up after themselves and their respectfulness.  His team built a 10 x 10 wooden patio extension, built two retaining walls, leveled out the ground to be even with the patio (before my parents would step off the patio onto uneven ground that quickly sloped downward), got rid of the extra hard clay dirt, brought in good soil, laid a walkway from the front of the house that ran all the way to the new back wood patio extension, and they built a new higher fence around the wood patio to ensure it came up to code.  When all was said and done, my parents were exceptionally pleased.  They say the patio area turned out better than they had expected.  They have used their patio everyday since the work was completed.

The most impressive detail was the punctuality of this team. Tasks were completed as discussed.  The team was cordial and polite. A pleasure to work with this team.

If I could rate River City Patio And Garden with something higher than an A...I would!
This company was by far the best company that I have had do work of any kind for me in the 6 years I have owned my home.  They were punctual, hard working, professional, and (best of all) concerned with my happiness with their work.  When they arrived, I discussed my concerns about the shallow depth at which my cable and internet lines were buried and that they might hit them.  They were very careful to pull these lines up to avoid any chance of damaging them, then reburied them when they were done!  Any time I had a concern or a question, Kevin was easy to reach and prompt with a reply or a fix to the issue to my satisfaction.  Even my smallest concerns were addressed with the utmost attention and I never felt dismissed or as if I were bothering him.  He also never requested any portion of payment before the services were complete...something that I am firm on now that I have been taken advantage of several times by companies requesting portions of payments up front and then not being reliable.  This experience was truly the epitome of what service should be and if everyone were as professional as this company, the world would be a better place.  
I would recommend River City Patio And Garden to absolutely anyone; friends, family, and neighbors included.   I will also use them for any other services I need that they can provide because I am sure no one else could or would do it any better!

They did a great job.  Everything is fine with it. They showed willingness to come back if I had any problem and fix but I haven't had any problems. I have them to come in and do walk path through my garden and hey made it very rustic looking. They were reasonably priced. I would recommend them highly. They did what they said they were going to do, they did it in a very timely fashion, they were competent and the quality of the work and cost.
