Appliance Doctor

Mr. Jones (the repairman for Appliance Doctor) mis-diagnosed the problem with my refrigerator when he arrived to perform the service call. (I was charged a $50 fee for the service call). When a different repairman was called and another service call fee was paid, the second repairman correctly identified the problem and had the unit repaired in less than twenty minutes. I called Appliance Doctor back and related to his office worker that I felt Mr. Jones had been incorrect in his assessment of the problem and I should not have to pay a service call when I felt I had not received the quality of service that I had paid for. The office worker (I think her name was Sue) told me that anyone could make a mistake and that they would not refund the service call fee. I felt that I should not have to pay a service call fee because the repairman had been wrong. What should have been an inexpensive and easy problem to repair caused me a very large needless expense and two additional weeks without the use of my refrigerator. After all, don't you hire a professional to do a quality job and stand behind his work?
