Came to our lake house twice to fix an issue with shower going hot and cold and the issue was not rectified either time, yet we were charged approx $800 for each visit (including “trip charge”). We were slow to pay the second time because we were asking them to come back and fix the issue and we got chastised by the lady calling to collect with threats that “trust me, you dont want to owner to get involved” inferring that he was not going to be pleasant to deal with. We actually asked for the owner to call but all we got was were threats to be sent to bad debt collection so we gave up and just paid the bill. Now we’ve spent $1600 with Ace, who cares nothing about making sure our issue was resolved but just collecting their fees and we still haven’t gotten our problem fixed. Great example of why contractors have a bad name. No integrity.

Great plumbing work done by ACE Plumbing Company. They were very helpful.

They had to go inside the wall to replace the copper pipe but they were very careful to cut straight lines and tape the piece of dry wall they had to move back in place. They did not repair it but that was explained to me before the work was done. However, they made it easier for me to have someone to replace it. I was very please with the care they took in taping the wall back in place.

Extremely punctual and professional. They did not have the required cartridge on the truck, but promptly got one from a local supply house. Work was completed promptly and accurately. Total cost was $187.50

I set up an appointment a week prior to have a drain cleared. I took the day off for this and other appointments. The appointment was for 12 today...it's is now 3:01. I called at 12:30 to see what was going on...the receptionist stated she would check. I get a call at 2:45 stating they were on their way...whelp I have to leave now for my other appointment. They stated we would have to reschedule for tomorrow...ummm nope because I will be at work. I asked for an explanation as to why and was told a previous appointment ran long. I could have been advised of that earlier and was not. Needless to say I will not use them in the future. I had to contact another plumber and hopefully I will hear from them soon...

Was quoted over the phone no more than $500 and sent a guy out and he said about $350 and would get back to me. Fast forward a couple days with zero communication I contact Ace Plumbing and they sent another contractor out and he stated the project couldn’t be done less that $700-1000. They were punctual and had knowledge obviously about plumbing but their communication was beyond horrible through out the company. I would suggest a different company just over varying pricing and lack of communication from their part.

They responded promptly. Chad (the employee) found the cracked pipe quickly and repaired it. He also repaired another issue identified to him. He finally recommended that the area be allowed to dry before the wall is repaired. He was extremely professional.

The company was ready to go to work, the day after my initial telephone call. The tech telephoned me b4 traveling to the job site to prequalify work to be done. The tech picked up the appliances. Their mfr of choice for water heaters is RHEEM. We requested a Moen kitchen faucet. The water heater was installed in two hours. The kitchen sink faucet in forty-five minutes. The tech and one helper performed the work. The tech was prepared for a worst case scenario as pertains to resolving a leaking outdoor water faucet with a faucet handle performing a 360 degree movement when turning the water on and off. A washer specifically for the faucet handle had disintegrated. The TECH had a "match" for a replacement washer. Tension was restored to faucet handle movement and the leak was stopped. I did not "shop around" for the "best buy" as pertains to performing these services. I picked Ace Plumbing solely because they were remotely checked to be a certified plumber per Angie's List standards. For your reference, and I could be wrong; I estimate Ace Plumbing received "contractor pricing" for the appliances. If I had purchased the aforementioned water heater I believe I would have paid $935.00. Per local code, I had to have a thermal expansion device installed on the water heater. I believe that would have cost me $50.00. The kitchen sink faucet - - $80+. Labor/profit for the contractor I estimate would range from 30-45% of the total bill. I received a consolidated billing/vice price per action on my paper bill. I paid for the services after work was performed with a personal check. I am satisfied with the work performed by this Ace Plumbing team. The team knew their job and were experienced. As with all contractors, if you are ready for the work to be done, they will come.

The plumer was very friendly and courteous. He fixed everything in a timely manner. He did a superb job.

One time and professional. The next day, a Saturday, I discovered that water would only get luke warm. After sending them a message on their web site, I found a YouTube video showing how to adjust the scald prevention setting. It was an easy job, but it should have been handled by the technician who performed the work. I sent a second message saying I had resolved the problem myself, but never received any type of response. Delta's web site indicates those parts are guaranteed for life to the original purchaser. Just makes me wonder if the company returns parts under warranty and is, therefore, charging for essentially free parts.

fix only lasted 2 weeks.

It was good. They fixed the problem. They showed me what wrong, and what was broken inside the shower head. It's holding up, it's not leaking.  It wasn't a very big part. I'm assuming the charge is for labor. So far so good. I'm sure they did come relatively soon, It wasn't a long time to wait. I didn't have an issue with timing.

We did not get a written contract of what was included. Their price was higher but we accepted it because we thought we were getting additional elements (a vent fan). It may have been miscommunication but it was a $300 difference in price.
