 + -1 moreVery professional estimate/contract, i was somewhat discouraged that his price was substantially more than anouther estimate. But in all fairness he explained he was offering a better installation including duct work that the other contractor may not have considered due to the fact that the latter was a "telephone " bid. If i decide to let Hap-e do the job i will do a additional review of the finished job. Mr. Smith never returned to perform the work he indicated he would do. We compared his bid to several others and realized that he was three thousand dollars more than the average of other comparable bids. We had work performed by Pruett HVAC in Eastman.
Description of Work: Provider called to give price for new AC/HVAC unit. When Mr. Smith noticed that we were suffering from the heat as a result of a defective unit, he volunteered to look the unit free of charge in a effort to get us some much needed cool. A storm blew up and he was not able to complete inspection/repair, however he indicated he would return the next day weather permitting. I was impressed by his stated concern for us, even though we had not committed to letting him install the new system.
