Trophy Landscape

Description of Work: Trophy did several jobs for us. The built a fire pit and patio which went well. It looks great and I didn't have to clean up much trash on the site. They also did landscape with flowers, grasses, trees, and an irrigation system. The plants they chose were great and the layout looks very nice as the seasons change. |They left cigarette butts and lunch trash every visit, about half of the nylon string from the bales of straw was just left in the beds, the irrigation system was mis programmed and left unfinished so we wasted very large amounts of water. When I asked them to fix the issues they told me that they came out and addressed them but when I checked they had not. We contacted them again and they told us again that everything was fixed, but still they had done nothing. We called them out again and I held their hand and explained each glaring issue to them and only then did they finish the job we had already paid for. They planted some dogwood trees one of which was already dead. They replaced it and promised to replace a second since the sized are quite different but never did. At a third location we have had quite a lot of trouble getting them to replace dead plants within the warranty period. We have tried to initiate a maintenance contract but they wont even respond to us. Like I stated their plantings look good but they are a pain to deal with, they don't deliver on their promises and you have to clean up after the workers.

Description of Work: This company has done a lot of work for me over the past 3 years. Brian is good with implementing your plan and discussing alternatives when needed. I had about $6000 of work done in 2010. He planted everything properly and most of the plants have been doing well. There are just a few azaleas that died. Most recently he installed a long paver walkway and set boulders for about $4000. I like his work. Only criticism is that the warranty on replacing shrubs doesn't seem to mean anything. There are about 8 plants (out of 70 he's installed) that died. He doesn't come back to replace when notified. I've mentioned it to he several times but haven't hounded him. He probably would do it if I called him everyday, i just haven't had the time.
