I searched online and got quote from 4 different companies. I picked Affordable Blinds and Shutters since I liked James' professionalism and his straight business approach. I live in California and the shutters are for my home in Gilbert, AZ. I did not know him personally and never met him. But I trusted him and paid $2550 down payment. The shutters were done extremely well and were installed as per commitment. I am pleased with the quality and integrity.

I was pleased to find a family run business where each person involved from initial contact, bid, and installation were true members of the company rather than subs; especially since the work was being done inside my home. The products and options available for my specific rooms and windows were discussed and a timeline given. The custom made wood plantation shutters stained to match my hardwood floors were installed yesterday. I am absolutely thrilled with the results and smile every time I look at them. Love, love, love them! The rooms feel so much larger and look like something out of a magazine. I wish I would have done this years ago. I highly recommend this wonderful company and its dedicated staff/owners.

Love this family run company. We ordered blinds from them back in 2011 and when we needed blinds again, there wasn't any question who to call. Punctual, reasonably priced and very helpful.

I saw Affordable Blinds and Shutters, Inc. on Angie's List. I liked that it was a family owned and run company in Cartersville, and not some company from who knows where. I called and set up an appointment with Jean. She was out on a call, but promptly returned my call. We were able to set up an appointment convenient for me.
Jean was on time for the appointment. She brought with her samples of the wooden blinds and a very nice color selection to match the stained wood in the 2 areas I wanted blinds. The appointment went very smoothly. Measurements were taken and Jean figured out the cost and turn around time.
One week later 2 gentlemen came to install the blinds. They were very pleasant and quick. The blinds are absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted!
The factory is in Cartersville. I would like to visit at some point to see how a family business is run, and to look at other types of blinds that I can have made in the future.
I highly recommend this company and their work.

They were prompt and very professional. They explained the entire process, had samples of colors with them and discussed the scheduled. The installer arrived promptly and installed all the blinds in less than 5 hours. He also took away the old blinds.

I contacted Affordable Blinds & Shutters regarding plantation shutters for my house. Linda came out promptly after I contacted her and measured all windows with ease. She quickly determined what was needed, correct measurements, paint color and style. I was told then the cost and when I could expect the shutters to be installed. Bob came out today and installed my shutters. The craftsman ship of the shutters (design, paint, handles) is excellent and Bob was able to install quickly, with no mess to clean up! He even took down my old blinds and was careful not to damage my windows or floors.
I am very pleased with ABS' work and would recommend them without hesitation.

Affordable Blinds and Shutters installed shutters throughout my house initially 16 years ago. They have since replaced some of my cafe shutters with shutters that cover the entire window. I love their work so much that I have referred them many times to people who love them equally. I cannot give them enough praise.
