We are a 22 year old business with a small but trained crew (no subcontractors). We take training classes as often as possible to keep up with new equipment. Our monthly monitoring rate has never gone up in the 22 years. Our lead tech is on-call for after hours emergency service issues. We offer in office financing when needed. Home and commercial security and fire systems, camera systems, central vac, intercom, control access. We offer Total Connect that allows you to control/view your security system from your smart phone or computer.
The ongoing service charge was $50 and the last I spent was about $300 and was for some repair and enhancement. Things went very poorly with them. When it came to the monitoring they had no idea whether they were connected to me or not. If the system got disconnected and if they couldn’t reach me they had no way to know. I had a problem at night and it took me a while to find a service tech that had to disconnect the system and said that he would be out in the morning to fix it, but I haven’t heard from him since, so the follow up is very poor. I will not use them again.
Description of Work: I used Ace Protection Security probably 4 months ago and they installed a monitoring system and did monitoring for fire, security, and smoke.

I always regret when I hear that we have a customer that did not get the service they needed. The member moved into a home that had an existing system and this system did not have the capability to look for telco line fault. This means that if the phone line was cut, we would not be able to see this from the central station. Some systems do not offer this but most of the newer systems have this capability. Our tech gets called after hours and responds usually within 15 minutes. We have a secondary tech on-call if they can't reach our lead tech so that our customers do not have a longer wait than 20 minutes. Once our tech helps the customer, they are told to call the office in the morning so we can do a follow-up service call if needed. The scheduling for service is done from the office during business hours, techs do not set up service calls. Again, I regret that this customer felt we did not take care of his system on a timely basis. Because we are a small business, we rely on referrals from existing customers and try very hard to make sure we take care of the customers we have. We appreciate comments from our customers and change policies and procedures that are not working so that our customers not only stay with us but want to refer us to their friends and family.

They are the best when it comes to home security. What I like the most is that if you move you don't have to purchase new equipment. They are very accommodating and they really do a wonderful job.
