Very well. I have been going to Carrollton Animal Hospital for about 7 yrs. The Vets and Staff are very caring. One of my cats Has an auto immune disease, and the Vet, (Dr. Williamson ), knew exactly what to do. Love these guys!

I love my dog and want to provide the best care for her. She tends to get ear hematomas occasionally since she is prone to ear infections. The first time she had one, I was terrified since I did not know what was going on with her ear. It looked like a balloon so I wanted to get it checked out immediately. The vet I had been going to for a few years was by appointment only and she could not squeeze me in. I had to get her checked out so I went to another animal hospital in Carrollton. They saw her and scheduled surgery to fix the hematoma, but I feel like they destroyed her ear in the process. It also costed approximately $400.00. Since then, she got small ones occasionally that I would just clean very well and they would go away. When she got another large one on the opposite ear, I knew I had to find a good vet to help her. I began my search and after many good reviews of VCA Carrollton Animal Hospital, I decided to go check them out without my pet. I was welcomed as soon as I got there, I explained she was prone to ear infections and that I was afraid I would have to pay for another costly surgery. She explained that they usually just put a small tube in the ear to let the fluid drain and that it was not going to cost me anywhere near $400. In fact, it was about 1/4 of the cost! She also told me about a coupon you could print off of their website for first time visitors to waive the exam fee. I felt so comfortable that I scheduled an appointment for the next day. I walked in the next day and the same nurse was at the front desk. She was so kind and came out to greet my dog. Everyone there was pleasant and you could tell they genuinely cared about your pets. We went back and after one look in her ear, the vet said it was just another bad ear infection and gave me some ear drops to clear it up. He said that the hematoma was just from her shaking her head because of the ear infection so after a couple of days when the infection goes away, the hematoma will naturally clear up. I was impressed that they did not do an unnecessary procedure to get more money. I told him she is prone to ear infections so he gave me the large bottle of drops so that I could have them on hand if she gets another infection. I can tell when she is because she hangs her head and shakes it when her ears are really bothering her. He also suggested a change in her diet could help because it may be something in her food. That seemed to help a lot because she is not having as much trouble with her ears. To make it even better, VCA Animal Hospital also carried the ear cleaning solution that I use on a regular basis to help avoid the infections. I was highly impressed with this vet and will be using them from now on. I will be taking my 2 cats there as well when it comes time for their yearly shots. I highly recommend this vet to anyone!

My cat and I met with Dr. Williamson. After telling him of Dusty's problems, he immediately took his blood pressure (neither of the previous vets did this). It was high. He prescribed medication to try and we had follow up appointments to check to see that he was receiving proper dosages. I believe Dr. Williamson saved my cat's life. Since then I would make the 45-minute drive to see this veterinarian (no appointment was necessary). He has a couple of other lady veterinarians who work with him, but Dr. Williamson was my favorite and I requested him each time. Dr. Williamson is professional yet down-to-earth and open to practical (even some natural remedies) solutions. In other words, he is not a "nickel-and-dimer." ;) His assistants are all friendly and help keep pets calm. They also carried my kitties out to my car in their carriers for me! I LOVED Dr. Williamson, but with this aging kitty, the drive just was too far and I have found another wonderful vet since then close by. But I would have stayed with Dr. Williamson if his office was closer to where I live. But I highly recommend him.

I've been using the Carrollton Animal Hospital for 30 years. Dr. Heather is one of the best veterinarians I've ever dealt with. She is very caring and compassionate. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The clinic is clean and everyone is professional and they really seem to care about your pets.

I am very impressed by the care this hospital gives the animals it sees. My cat has never had a problem seeing the doctor there and I have watched as they have gone out of their way to help strays, even to the extent that they will treat them and find a home for them for nothing. I have shopped around for a vet for a long time and this hospital is the best I have found all around. I highly recommend them.

The staff at this hospital were helpful and they pay very good attention to our animals. They made us feel so much better by coming to our home. This place is very professional and our cat loved to go there. We would highly recommend them to others in our area.
