I have a maintenance contract with them, I pay annually and they come out a few times a year and do a check for free. I would tell them that they're great, it's good service and professional and all that. They explain everything very good. They did a good job cleaning up.

My heat went out. Maxwell had done some work for me 3-4 months ago. When they came out this time they investigated and found two loose wires. They claimed that their repairs three months ago could have loosened the wires and apologized for the inconvenience. Fixed and the payment was a handshake and a thank you. I love honest workmanship.

We had the unit repaired & then the handler burned out. Maxwell found a unit to replace it and did work in ducts & drain.

Maxwell was terrific to work with from start to finish. Scheduling the estimate and the job itself were easy. Maxwell strategized with us to get us the best price and best match of system components for our needs. (Another company we called for an estimate tried to push us into a higher rated, more expensive system than we needed.)
Our two-story house has a furnace in the attic and a furnace in the basement and two A/C units outside. We upgraded the upstairs A/C to the more expensive 16 seer unit to efficiently cool the bedrooms and an office, and new ductwork was run to the office which is above the garage. We also upgraded to a variable speed motor on the upstairs furnace to keep the air circulating through the air filter all year round (using the fan "on" setting). We anticipate a big savings on our utility bills this year.
The installers were very protective of our property, covering all floor areas where they were walking and toting out the old, in with the new equipment. They were so professional and competent, I almost forgot they were in the house. Then the job was done, and they double-checked everything and showed me the extra safety precautions they had taken to correct our old pipes and ductwork.
I could immediately tell the new duct work was doing a better job of bringing heat to the bonus room office, and I look forward to a more comfortable summer this year with the improved air flow from the upstairs A/C. I waited a month to write this review so that I could say we are totally satisfied.

Jarrod Maxwell was a little later arriving to look at my existing system, but the delay was not enough to present a problem. According to my wife, who met with him, he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Unlike another company we talked to, he did not attempt to sell us additional work or charge extra for things that should be included in the cost of the installed system. Early in the conversation, he mentioned that we would have to replace the air handler along with the heat pump, because the new systems use a different coolant that is not compatible with our old air handler. I was already aware of this based on my own research. Jarrod gathered the information he needed to put together a quote, and he came back with a written quote that afternoon which included multiple options. Everything was clearly presented, and the prices were competitive. We returned the signed quote that afternoon, indicating our choice of systems, and they scheduled the installation for 1/19. They were a little later than anticipated arriving on the day of installation, but only by a few minutes. They were very professional and efficient. They took steps to protect our carpet, and they transferred our HEPA filter from the old air handler to the new one as part of the installation. They were finished in about four hours, with no problems and no surprises on the bill. They also registered the new system with Lennox for the warranty and a rebate, and they gave us a year of their maintenance agreement at no extra charge. The entire experience with Maxwell was a pleasure. With all the companies today who will try to take advantage of the customer and/or provide poor service, it was nice to deal with people who are up front and professional all the way and do quality work. The new system has worked flawlessly since installation, and it is far more effective than any other HVAC system we've had in terms of maintaining a comfortable temperature in the house. Over all, I was very impressed with Maxwell from beginning to end, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I will definitely be using them in the future.

It's amazing at this day and time that their are local companies that are still trying to take advantage of customers. Our a/c was not cooling our home so I contacted Maxwell for a service call. The technician showed up on time and looked immeidately checked the unit outside for freon loss with gauges. He stated that it was almost empty and would look at my unit upstairs. Once he opened they air handler, he called my up in the attic and said that he could hear a leak. I asked him if it could be fixed, and he immediately started to trying to sell me an entire unit. I asked if I could just replace the coil, and he told me that it would be just as much to replace the unit which would be about $2500 or more. We then went outside and I asked if he could charge the unit back to full capacity. He grabbed a freon bottle, hooked it up and shook it around for about 10 minutes and told me it was full. He never showed me how much he acutally used and presented me with a bill for $258.00. All of this was done in under 30 minutes. The next day I had 5 different proposals laying beside my garage door for new units starting at $5000 up to $13000. I then called the company to complain and a sales person contacted me to state that their was a miscommunication on their part and went right into the whole sales mode again for a new unit. I told him that I was not interested in a whole new unit, that I wanted to just replace the coil, he said he would check into pricing, and I haven't heard from him since. I then decided to get a second opinion and called Advanced Cooling out of Bremen, GA. The technician, Dwayne, came out and checked the unit. He stayed 3 hours, looking for the leak in the coil, found it and repaired it, and put 6.5 lbs. of freon in which was weighed on his scale for me to view and only charged me $371.00. I hope that this helps for other families in the future.
