They were extremely clean. They had a vacuum going while they were moving the flue down the chimney, getting any dust that fell. The cylindrical flue is much more effective than my previous one. He was very cost conscience. I felt this was a safe deal, as it is guaranteed for life. He has quite a list of historical restorations. There are no short cuts with his profession, he is certified and fully licensed.
