Came in for a meeting, communicated well and seemed quite down to earth but then disappeared. Never had any work done by this individual because he flaked out on us.

Two individuals came over to the house. They used a meter that they stuck about 1 inch into each wall of the house and stated it had water damage. The interesting part is that if the meter did not beep, the man would then jam it in deeper until it beeped, then stated it too had water damage. This meter seemed weird as the man stated every wall in the house would have to be removed, and every ceiling. This was a dilemma for us as we felt not all of the house was damaged and did not have to remove all the drywall. Also, did not feel comfortable with company as they could not provide estimate and stated they "charge the insurance." My question then is what if insurance doesn't pay total bill, he stated they will?
Description of Work: Following Hurricane Ike, Right Way came to the neighborhood to offer services. Requested estimate for water damage restoration, however they stated they don't give estimate, they charge insurance.

The property above had shingles missing and water came in through the roof during hurricane IKE. The house was without power for days, and water ran throughout the entire ceiling and down into each wall. During a catastrophe there is no time for estimates, all work is covered by insurance companies provided there is insurance for the type of loss that we are dealing with (in this case there was). We did multiple jobs the this neighborhood and all were paid by insurance with no problem. We use the same program as the insurance companies for billing so there is no discrepency in price. We are also a preferred vendor on some insurance companies. The water was on the inside of the wall so to prove there was a moisture issue that would result in mold, we had to not just touch the surface of the wall, but penetrate it to get to the backside of the drywall where the wet studs were.
