 + -1 moreIf you value and expect ethics, morals, and a positive customer service experience, DO NOT DO BUSINESSS WITH RED GATE HOME FURNISHINGS. We placed a large order in May of 2013 for multiple rooms. We paid the full amount up-front, which Mrs. Osborn cashed the next day. After several calls starting at the end of June to get a definitive date, we were told all items would arrive on the 19th of July. We received a call at 8:45PM on the 18th from Mrs. Osborn, stating that the manufacturer did not submit the order, and it would be another 6-8 weeks for delivery. (By this time, we were living in a new home, with no furniture) Based on this terrible experience, we stated we wanted our money back and we would take our business elsewhere. This was July 19th, and it is now the end of Oct., and we still have not collected our full refund, forcing us to now take legal action. Additionally, if you think I am exception to the rule, I have found (4) additional customers, all who have had similar experiences. This was THE WORST experience we have ever had with a retail establishment?
Description of Work: The worst experience of our life!

 + -1 moreMy furniture was delivered on time and in great condition. Maria kept in contact with me throughout the process. I will be buying all my furniture from her in the future!
Description of Work: Maria helped me choose the furniture that would best fit in my house. She gave me many different choices to pick from all were much less expensive than going to a big retail furniture store.

Description of Work: Bought a white bedroom set for my little girl, and it was delivered within a few days (free). However, delivery guy arrived ALONE to bring 4 large, heavy pieces of furniture upstairs, so my husband felt compelled to help him. He also claimed he "didn't know" he was supposed to assemble the bed, even though I was told he would. When backordered items arrived 2 weeks later, the owner Maria, who is very nice, remedied this with 2 different delivery men. 3 of the original items had noticeable shipping or manufacturing flaws (furniture was made in Vietnam), but she exchanged them the next day and made sure I was satisfied. Pros: Maria and the price. Cons: Not a great delivery experience, some slight damage to furniture
