Rodney gave a very detailed estimate as to what it would take to fix the problem of washing once and for all.  Once he started the job, he worked extremely hard and was very respectful in letting me know when he was breaking for lunch or ending the day.  Daily he cleaned up the area.  I was very impressed and felt very comfortable with him here.  On several occasions I went out and ran errands and left the house open as I trusted him that much.  I told him if he needed water or ice to come on in and help himself.  He always brought his own ice and water but was very appreciative of the offer.

Rodney came out and gave me an estimate. He explained to me why the old retaining wall gave way and how he would build another one that would have a drainage system. I am getting my neighbor's runoff as well as the neighbor that is in back of me. He explained the problem in a way that I could understand. He explained his plans to build a new one with more "dead men" that would secure the wall. I was ready to get that mess out of there. I had a written contract explaining all the work to be done. He also took out 3 trees that were brushing up against my house and took off some limbs of other trees that were laying on my roof. Gosh, I wish I could clone Rodney! He renewed my faith in contractors. As I told him today when he finished, he went above and beyond which is unheard in today's world. He replaced the gutter and laid some underground hollow hoses to handle the runoff. I am so pleased with what all he did. I would recommend him without hesitation. He's the best!

He did a wonderful job. We were specific about what we wanted. We made a couple of changes which he incorporated without charging anything extra. He brought down a few trees which were in the way of the fence line. After the fence was done, we hired him to put a wall around our pool in the backyard. He also terraced the backyard. It started as a small job to build a wall around the pool but turned out to be a big job with 3 layers of terracing. His pricing was reasonable. We have recommended him to other people.

It all happened on short notice. We called Rodney one day, he came out to look at the job the next day and two days later we did the work. Our neighborhood, was having a garage sale the day of the job, so Rodney was kind enough to bring the Bobcat the night before, as it would have been near impossible to get it to our house through the traffic on the actual day. He had a narrow passage way between us and our neighbors to move all the dirt back and forth, but it was no problem for him. The work was completed in a day and even with my nitpicking about certain areas. Rodney has a great eye and excellent skill with the equipment. All and all everything went great, the yard looks great, I couldn't have hoped for better.
