The crew arrived when promised and worked all day, only taking a short break for lunch.  They worked steadily and didn't waste time chit-chatting with each other.  They played music, but kept the volume low.  They did an excellent job of cleaning up.  Could not have asked for a better roofing crew.

Mike Hammond and Tim Cole  were both professional and courteous during the entire process from the estimate process, helping me select shingles, to actually replacing the roof and delivering all of the pertinent paperwork after work was completed.  Throughout the process they answered my questions and addressed my concerns patiently and in a timely manner.
We had a number of delays (none of which were their fault) -- weather, repaving in my sub-division and then I had to leave town for a month. I was especially concerned about the last delay because I had discovered I had a leak and was concerned that about damage during that time.  When I called Mike  to let them know of the delay and my concern about the leak, he said they would put a tarp on the roof to protect it before I could even ask.  Tim came out and put the tarp on the roof before I left town.

From the beginning Tim was very professional with providing information and going over what my roof needed and how he planned to fix the problems.  We scheduled a date and his team was right on time.  He had a dumpster delivered the day before, His team showed up as planned and laid out tarps to catch falling material.  The roof was completed and the guys were great about cleaning up and making sure everything was in order.  Tim made a follow up phone call the next day to make sure I was happy with the job that was done.  The new roof looks amazing.  I've very happy with the results.

It's fine and it's not leaking. They got the job done immediately and it's very professional. They're very friendly. I appreciated working with them.

Outstanding! What's better than a free service call and repair, along with knowing there's a contractor in the area willing to be honest about what's needed, even though it might not have resulted in an immediate project

The representative inspected my 17 year old roof. took photos. and discussed with me two options. One was to repair the roof and the other was to replace the roof. Repair would have given me 3 to 5 more years of service. Replacement would give me another 20 years of service. He provided me with two quotes to consider. There was some special consideration for a wood stove stack that vented through the roof. The representative was considerate and helpful. In no way was he offensively aggressive. They allowed us time to gather other quotes and compare the option. Their follow up was courteous and professional. When they were selected for the job they explained how and when they would proceed. The crew arrived on time, were quiet, surrounded the house with tarps to capture falling roof materials, and went to work. The members of the crew were also courteous and helpful and would stop work to answer questions. it was obvious they were a well trained and organized crew the way they worked together without wasted motion. While working on the roof they took photographs of hidden damage that needed repair so that we would be informed. They also took the time to repair substandard work by other contractors and were able to improve the look of the roof line. This crew removed the roofing materials to the bare wood, inspected, repaired and replaced the roof plus removed two roof ventilators and installed a ridge line venting system.Clean-up was a continuous effort. There was a special effort before they departed to retrieve any debris that might have fallen into the yard. The contractor returned the next day, when the dumpster was removed, to inspect the area for nails or construction debris that may have been under the dumpster. In the rain, he personally rolled a magnet over the driveway to ensure all nails were collected, I recommend this company with the highest degree of enthusiasm.

They were professional and never missed any deadline.  Any additional costs were discussed with us upfront with pictures.  Fast, friendly and excellent work results.  Would recommend them to anybody that needed a new roof.

I’ll start off by saying that these guys were OUTSTANDING!  They were very professional from beginning to
end and did an A1 job with replacing my roof. 
I called Mist because I had a leak coming through my closet
ceiling.  I also had a small leak in an upstairs
bedroom.  My first thought was to have
these guys come out to the house, find the leaks and repair those specific sections
of roof.  Instead, I ended up with a
brand new roof with my only cost was the deductible on my insurance. 
Tim Cook came out to my house and examined my roof.  He almost immediately identified the wind
damage I had from a prior storm 7 months earlier.  He explained the entire process to me and then
met with my insurance adjuster.  Tim was
able to get the entire roof covered along with ceiling repair for both the
closet and bedroom!
Here’s what I appreciated the most with Mist Construction…
Tim scheduled two days to get the old roof removed and the new one
installed.  I didn’t think they would be
able to do it that quick.  However, to my
surprise, by the end of the second day, I had a new roof installed!  The cleanup was complete and thorough as if
they were never there.  These guys worked
hard and did a great job, just as Tim said they would. 
The crew was great especially Gene and the Job Supervisor
(his name slips my mind).  They were both
excellent answering all my questions and concerns.  In fact, the Job Supervisor asked me several
times during the job if I had any questions or concerns.  I can’t say enough about these guys.
Lastly, the roof exceeded my expectations and the work they
did to the damaged ceilings were perfect! 
They had pulled out a section of drywall and reinstalled new drywall and
painted it to a perfect match to the closet color.
If you have roof problems, you won’t go wrong with MIST

They were very professional.

On Monday, March 25th, we secured MIST
construction to tear out and repave our driveway. We had previously collected
15 different quotes on the project. My husband had it narrowed down to 2
companies, and MIST aggressively courted us. He said he would match the lower
price of the other company. We explained we would be putting a large part of
the cost on a credit card, and the other part in cash. He said no problem,
anything to get the job.  The plan was
tear out Monday, form Tuesday, pour and complete Wednesday. I was home sick for
the tear out and it went smoothly. My husband works from home every Tuesday. He
was told they would be there first thing in the morning. They showed up around
4:30 p.m.. My husband had to call to find out where they were. Only half the
forming was completed Tuesday. This is where the problem came in to play. We
were both at work Wednesday when the rest of the forming and pouring was done.
My husband had previously marked the area with string so they knew the exact
dimensions. During tear out, those were cut. He got out there Tuesday evening
and marked the line with bright orange spray paint. MIST said we kept moving
the lines to make the driveway wider at the end, even though it was the exact
same measurements as before. Needless to say, he shorted us about 2 feet on
each side of the apron and about 8 ft. in length. Of course we were at work
when this happened. We got home and my husband was very displeased and called
Mike immediately. He comes out and throws attitude, tells us he isn’t pouring
another drop of concrete, what do we want him to do about it, he is already
using way too much concrete for the job, etc, etc. Now, it is not our fault he
grossly misjudged the project. He also told us that we should have been there
when it was formed. Umm, had he done the forming the day he said he was going
to, we WOULD have been home.  He
subcontracted the job to a local company called ATEL construction. We have no
complaints with them, they did fantastic work. I would recommend going directly
through them for anybody looking for concrete work to be done. Mike was the one
who told them to short us on the apron. Now it is payment time. He wants us to
pay more in cash, although at the beginning of the job he knew we would be
using a credit card. My husband explained I wanted the skymiles, since it was
such a large amount. He says, “Oh, so now I’m paying for your miles, nice!”.
Had he been paying for my miles, I would have sent my credit card statement to
him and he could have paid the $10,000 balance. So then he says, would we
consider adding an additional 3% to the paypal total so we would cover his
costs on us using the credit card. H*** no. Then it was, what about half? Still
h*** no. You didn’t complete the job on the correct timetable, you shorted us
hundreds, if not thousands, worth of concrete on the driveway, were completely
unprofessional. Bottom line- avoid MIST construction, unless you have
everything diagrammed, in writing, pictures with measurements documented, etc.  I highly recommend ATEL, but cannot say the same for MIST.


Added as an update to the response:

You can clearly see that I do not leave bad responses for good work done.  I have had others do work and left good responses for them.  If Mist would like to post their pictures I can certainly post mine and let you the reviewer see the difference of the lines drawn.  I am not into bashing companies unless they do not do what is in the contract to do.  As you can see in the review I did put that it was as excellent quality.

I had storm damage on my roof and Tim and Mark came out and looked at it first after being recommended by my Son-in-law.  They were very professional and came with all the information not just enough to get in the door.  Once they looked over the house they said that when the insurance adjuster came out they would be there then to do the walk around with them.  They arrived Tuesday Morning 26 Feb at 0800 and left around dark and arrived the next morning at 0700 to completed the install and left around 1630.
The crews attention to detail and the service they provided was beyong reproach.  Their professionalism and customer service is far superior than any other construction company I spoke with.

I am happy with the work done by Mist Construction and the subcomtractors that they used. Through all the stages of my remodeling they were on site to make sure everything was completed correctly. i would recommend there services to anyone who would like to make changes to there home.Upgr

They were one of the best contractors I've ever used.  They were professional.  They provided a quality staff.  They did what they said they were going to do and more.

I would recommend MIST Construction without hesitation. This is the second time I've hired Mike and his team (he also did a complete renovation of a kitchen, powder room and master bath at my previous residence), and both times I've been thrilled with the results. While the work took longer than I expected (coordinating with subcontractors, etc.), I was in the enviable position of being able to have it done before moving in, so the inconvenience was minor. In a couple of instances, the planned work uncovered unexpected problems. For example, removal of the old brick around the driveway wall revealed a crumbling interior that could not simply be re-bricked, but required a new foundation. Mike handled it smoothly and efficiently and the end result is beautiful. Mike also is meticulous about quality. If any of his subcontractors fails to live up to his standards, he makes them keep at it until they get it right. He wasn't happy with the columns supporting the new porch roof, and had them reworked -- twice -- until they were built to his satisfaction. He also brought his tile contractor back in to fix a small flaw in the tiling of the new guest bath, because he wasn't content with the "easy fix" of trying to mask the flaw with grout. I am in my new home now, and extremely happy with how it all has come together. I highly recommend this supplier.
