Heimler Heating Cooling & Plbg

I have used the same guy for 25 years on 3 houses and he is awesome! It is Heimler Heating Cooling & Air. I guess the first place I used them on was back in about 1990, 26 years? experience. They have done work for me in multiple places. Everyplace multiple systems for me. I like the guy, he does good work! Good people to deal with.

The last thing I had them do was replace my A/C unit. It was right before an incredible heat wave. It died on a Thursday and Friday the temperature was headed north of 130, it was 108 and they got right out there Friday and replaced my unit. So, it was a life saver for us! It was the downstairs air conditioning unit, the main air conditioning unit. 

Scott Heimler was recommended by my handyman, Tom.  I had been advised to have my HVAC and ducts cleaned out because of recurring sinus infections.  Scott arrived on one day and provided a well-written quote on a professionally printed form.  He began work the next morning and was finished by lunch, which at the time, I thought was very speedy.  The service included cleaning and/or replacing the intake soft-sided intake tubes and opening the HVAC unit to vacuum/clean the inner workings.  I was at home for this service.
After he left, I realized that he had not removed the grates on the intake.  So I did, and found that there was literally 1" of dirt and dust still remaining just behind the grates.  I called him back, and he came back out a day later to finish cleaning.  At that time, I also noted that he used my bathtub to empty waste-water and acid, and left that dirty.  He also splattered this acid mix on my basement steps.
A few months after this, I was replacing the filters for the HVAC unit, and noticed that when he was cleaning the unit, he dripped the acid down the sides of my unit, and now the metal on the outside of the unit was corroded and flaking away.  I have now put a call in to have him come back yet again to clean this up, as well.
When he recommended Scott Heimler, Tom assured me that Scott may charge a bit more, but is an excellent HVAC guy.  After my experience, I find that while Scott does charge more, he simply does not have the attention to detail that his price should warrant.  I would not mind paying this guy $1600 for 4 hours of work if he did a complete job and cleaned up after himself.  I will not be using Scott Heimler again.

They are very professional and very good pricing. They are prompt.  They got in and got the job done much quicker than anybody else we have used.  We not only chose them because they were cheaper, but they just got it done and it was comparable.  They made the total communication all the time.  The price was lower.

I cannot say enough good things about this company.  My husband happened to be out of town on business when our furnace went out in our home during a very cold week.  Deb was extremely courteous, genuine and helpful in scheduling my initial appointment.  Scott, one of the techinicians, was very helpful in explaining in detail all of the issues that were preventing the furnace from working.  They honored company coupons and worked with me to provide the best possible price point in fixing the issues.

A week later, we had significant plumbing issues in the kitchen.  Scott responded to this issue, as well.  Both Scott and Deb were extremely trustworthy, caring and responsive to all of our needs.  No detail was left untouched.  Scott performed all of the maintenance at my home while my husband and I were at work.  He sent detailed video text messages to show the work that needed to be performed, and the work after it was completed.  Since Scott and his team also installed a dishwasher in my home, he took preventive measures to make sure our hard wood floors were not damaged when installing the appliance. He even took steps to make sure the appliances were cleaned after the installation.

This company is extremely detail oriented, knowledgeable, personable, and trustworthy.  I can honestly say we will be loyal customers for years to come and I would not use anyone else.  Highly recommended!!

MAJOR disappointment! I believe companies should earn our respect and business with each new business opportunity rather than assuming we're indebted to use them again simply because we had an agreeable experience at one time. Heimler failed to do that and that's why I'm rating them poorly on responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism.

Both jobs were done on time and with the greatest of care in doing a quality job and having the least amount of impact on our home.  Care was taken to setup the house to minimize the impact of the professional workers and the moving in out large equipment some of which was old and quite dirty.    Although Heimler was not the cheapest bidder on either job their level of professionalism and the process of doing the entire job and not just slapping in new equipment was appreciated and worth the additional cost. I would not hesitate to use them for future jobs.

Heimler is now on my very short list of service companies that exceed my expectations. Communications were great during the job. The company office gave me timely notice of arrival times of technicians. I received an above average flow of information about the status of all work and detailed explanations of what was being done. All Heimler staff exhibited great respect for my property. Everyone working inside wore protective "footies", protected work areas from damage and cleaned up after job completion. The only way you could tell they had worked in an area was the new item that was installed.
