We had a great experience with Hardrock and Casey. They took a challenging job and didn't hesitate to take it on. Everything was explained clearly and effectively from day one. Our new porch and deck look fantastic and the quality of construction is superb. We did have a couple of hiccups along the way with communication, but this was rectified quickly and fully to our satisfaction. We are considering Hardrock for another project in 2025.

Our project went very well. Our project was to completely replace a 23 year- old second story deck. We looked at several contractors as we considered the project. Casey/Heavywood took the time to suggest changes to the deck design that would increase the usable space both above and below the deck. The project was completed on schedule. The Heavywood crew was attentive to our needs, especially minimizing the time a roll-away dumpster was placed in our small driveway. Disruption to our family routine was minimal one a project that lasted about 3 months. We are very pleased with the final result.

I had a counter top installed incorrectly in my kitchen bar and Casey came up with a great solution to fix the problem. He was creative and the level of detail performed was incredible! He was patient and easy to work with. Highly recommend!!

Unbelievable job! Hardrock was an absolute pleasure to work with on our screened in patio project. They brought ideas to mind that we never would have thought of. Casey and his team are the best and I highly recommend them to anyone that is in the market for a new deck/patio.

What a backyard transformation! Casey had great ideas and suggested ways to save money in expanding the patio and replacing our deck and front stairs. We have a beautiful stamped concrete patio, rock wall, front stairs, and deck with covered pergula. He started with a detailed proposal and sat with us to explain what to expect and what not to expect. In this pandemic chaos, there were numerous difficulties with material availability, delivery delays, gas shortage, etc. Casey handled those with a minimum of disruption and was good in communicating with us. The project actually finished ahead of the proposed time. Very professional and hardworking. The crews were top notch, very knowledgeable, and hardworking with a friendly attitude. Excellent all around

The work was very good, communicated well with me, If I had some issues they get right into it and resolves the issue right away.

These guys are great! They arrived on time, helped us with our project planning, made a very professional presentation that spelled out every detail. They were upfront about things that could potentially impact the project and cost, and they do excellent work. Will use them again.

The guys from hardrock landscapes were very polite and they did a amazing job. They came out and did some prep work, and then 2 days later job was done and was cleaned up very well. I’m very pleased with the service.

I called Casey for a new Deck and Patio. He responded quickly to my email and scheduled for him to come out at look at my house. He was extremely knowledgeable and provide comfort in know I could trust him to do a great job and had great referrals I was able to reach out to with positive feedback. His presentation was one of the best I have ever seen, extremely impressed. We had other quotes and some were lower than but I decided to go with Casey because I trusted his knowledge and knew he would create a beautiful patio and deck within all the guideline codes. I can’t say enough good things about Casey and his company. I have already referred him to my friends and they had the same great experience with him. I highly recommend them and will use them for any future projects with my home.

It went very well! The price was good and the timing was right on. He did exactly what he said he would do for the price he told us. I would recommend them.

It went really well. The weather kept them from working on it for a while but they kept in touch with me and eventually were able to get it done. I would definitely hire them again and I would recommend them.

Very fast! My 10 x 10 patio that they made larger was done when I was at work and was done before I got back at 6pm that night

The experience left a lot to be desired. Some of the major sore points were: (1) We were told the permit would be handled; however, we ended up doing the drawings and pulling the permits (both tasks spent time learning what was required, since it was not our area of expertise). (2) We were told the job would not take long. From the time they started the work to the point we asked them if we could just be done was 10 months, granted it took us two months to figure out how to pull a permit and get the drawings done. They pored the foundation in September and in June we finally asked them to just not show up again and agree to a final bill amount. (3) It took a long time to get responses and then near the end, the way in which things were worded was completely unprofessional. (4) Near the end, we were having conversations with his contractors and with him and there was a lot of miscommunication. (5) We ended up parting ways, and we were left to order and install a custom screen door, install fixtures, and fix the electrical because it stopped working a couple of weeks after they left. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with someone who was more responsive and cost a little more. Maybe I just got what I paid for.
