We are a HARDSCAPE and MASONRY installation business, we install or repair retaining walls, pavers, stone, pool decks, Driveways etc. We are a certified ICPI paver installation company and by the NCMA, we are also an authorized BELGARD preferred contractor. We are also certified MASTER DECK BUILDERS, we build custom decks, Porches by design, Pavillions, and Custom Pergolas. Our Craftsmen specialize in quality finished projects, using quality materials and the best of products available to ensure a long lasting supreme finished product for your home.

We had a great experience with Hardrock and Casey. They took a challenging job and didn't hesitate to take it on. Everything was explained clearly and effectively from day one. Our new porch and deck look fantastic and the quality of construction is superb. We did have a couple of hiccups along the way with communication, but this was rectified quickly and fully to our satisfaction. We are considering Hardrock for another project in 2025.

Our project went very well. Our project was to completely replace a 23 year- old second story deck. We looked at several contractors as we considered the project. Casey/Heavywood took the time to suggest changes to the deck design that would increase the usable space both above and below the deck. The project was completed on schedule. The Heavywood crew was attentive to our needs, especially minimizing the time a roll-away dumpster was placed in our small driveway. Disruption to our family routine was minimal one a project that lasted about 3 months. We are very pleased with the final result.

What a backyard transformation! Casey had great ideas and suggested ways to save money in expanding the patio and replacing our deck and front stairs. We have a beautiful stamped concrete patio, rock wall, front stairs, and deck with covered pergula. He started with a detailed proposal and sat with us to explain what to expect and what not to expect. In this pandemic chaos, there were numerous difficulties with material availability, delivery delays, gas shortage, etc. Casey handled those with a minimum of disruption and was good in communicating with us. The project actually finished ahead of the proposed time. Very professional and hardworking. The crews were top notch, very knowledgeable, and hardworking with a friendly attitude. I called Casey for a new Deck and Patio. He responded quickly to my email and scheduled for him to come out at look at my house. He was extremely knowledgeable and provide comfort in know I could trust him to do a great job and had great referrals I was able to reach out to with positive feedback. His presentation was one of the best I have ever seen, extremely impressed. We had other quotes and some were lower than but I decided to go with Casey because I trusted his knowledge and knew he would create a beautiful patio and deck within all the guideline codes. I can’t say enough good things about Casey and his company. I have already referred him to my friends and they had the same great experience with him. I highly recommend them and will use them for any future projects with my home.

We called this company out along with many other companies to get a quote on a possible drainage solution (regrading) in our back yard. Casey was timely in his response and came out within a couple of days of me reaching out which was nice. However, after chatting about what needed to be done, things got a little bizarre for me. Most companies will email you a quote within a couple of days. He informed me that he would not be emailing me a quote and he needed a meeting with my husband and I during the week. Also, it had to be before 3:00 because he has children. I told him that my husband cant take a day off work to get a quote. He then told me that it was to protect HIMSELF from the clients and repeated it multiple times. I was the homeowner before marriage to my husband and manager of this house. A week later, he still hasn't gotten back to me. This company's work may be good so I wont give them a terrible rating but I do want other people to know their process. I would not have called if I knew that is how they do business. Especially since my husband is unable to take a day off work in order to get a quote.

Your home had flooded due to the previous contractor you hired because of not getting all the correct information on the scope of work. We were trying to prevent you from that and provide a thorough consultation, so you knew what was involved. You told us that you would be getting back to schedule a good day and time to meet so your husband could be present and you never followed up. And then felt compelled to say it was " bizarre" that we wanted to follow up with you.???? A phone call would have been nice, way to hide behind your computer!"

The experience left a lot to be desired. Some of the major sore points were: (1) We were told the permit would be handled; however, we ended up doing the drawings and pulling the permits (both tasks spent time learning what was required, since it was not our area of expertise). (2) We were told the job would not take long. From the time they started the work to the point we asked them if we could just be done was 10 months, granted it took us two months to figure out how to pull a permit and get the drawings done. They pored the foundation in September and in June we finally asked them to just not show up again and agree to a final bill amount. (3) It took a long time to get responses and then near the end, the way in which things were worded was completely unprofessional. (4) Near the end, we were having conversations with his contractors and with him and there was a lot of miscommunication. (5) We ended up parting ways, and we were left to order and install a custom screen door, install fixtures, and fix the electrical because it stopped working a couple of weeks after they left. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with someone who was more responsive and cost a little more. Maybe I just got what I paid for.
