James Fraley Engineer/NRPP Certified Radon Professional... Each Radon Mitigation System Includes Advanced Diagnostics & Pressure Field Extension Testing We have the equipment to locate the radon sources in your home. This allows us to design/install the most effective systems in Georgia. This is huge for people with finished basements and can prevent them from having to install 2 systems. We don't charge extra for: Fan Upgrades or Additional suctions points. We want our systems to be effective and our customers to be happy so we install the system that is going to work, we don't want to have to come back to your home. We fix other companies systems just about every week. Don't fall for ALARA. This is an acronym used by some companies instead of a number, they guarantee to get your radon level down to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable). If your radon level doesn't change, you don't get a refund, it is ALARA. www.eliteradonteam.com

"Dear Leo, We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we're genuinely sorry to hear that the radon mitigation system did not meet your expectations. Our goal is always to provide effective solutions, and we regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Upon reviewing your case, we acknowledge the original estimate stated there may be a need for phase 2 and we could not provide you with a radon guarantee without phase 2. You agreed to these terms. Our escalation manager's site visit was aimed at identifying the root cause, and we have taken immediate steps to rectify the situation. We have learned more about your home during the process. While phase 2 would be installed in a different location, it is still necessary. We stand by our original price, but we will not succumb to customers telling us what they will pay us for additional work. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience, and we remain committed to your satisfaction. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Sincerely, Elite Radon Team"
"..We appreciate your feedback and are genuinely sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with our services. We have installed thousands of systems and run into your issue a handful of times. No one can walk into your home and know you have radio active gas emanating from the materials your home is made from, we did not build the home. Radon typically comes from under the house. We have sent technicians out to your home 5 times (no additional charge), conducted emanation testing (no additional charge), discussed your situation many times over the phone/emails, and have sent numerous text messages. Yes, there was a delay in communication due to a sick family member who passed away. Unfortunately, radon emanation issues, which can stem from factors beyond our control such as building materials or water sources, are not covered by our standard services. This is spelled out in the contract you signed. We do apologize if there was any misunderstanding regarding this in the initial discussions. We understand your concerns about the additional system, and we would be happy to discuss this further with you. Our goal is to find a solution that ensures your home meets the radon level requirements without causing undue financial burden. Please reach out to us to discuss the situation in more detail and explore potential resolutions. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we are committed to working with you to address your concerns. Once again, we apologize for the challenges you've faced, and we look forward to the opportunity to make this right. -James"

"We were hired to replace a radon fan in a system that WE DID NOT INSTALL due to home inspectors findings. After inspecting the system, we realized that the fan was working properly, but there were issues in vapor barrier in the crawlspace. We did NOT charge her for this service call. We later provided her with a $500 estimate to repair the crawlspace and she agreed to it. Due to conflict of interest, we hired a 3rd party to conduct the radon testing. Home owner stated that the company made some off color comments over the phone that made her uncomfortable, so we fired them and hired a different company for the testing. The first company was not one of our employees. I hate that the other companies remarks reflected on us, customer satisfaction is of upmost importance to us. The home had an overall Radon average of 0.4 pCi/L after our repairs (that is awesome!). I just want to be clear that there was no bait and switch. We provided an estimate of $500 and that is what we charged. Crawlspace work is cumbersome, dirty, and a safety issue at times. The NRPP Standard recommends vapor barrier seems be sealed with both tape and caulk (a double seal), so that is what we did. We have found that gorilla tape sticks better to existing/dirty vapor barrier than butyl tape."
