EDM RENOVATIONS

Description of Work: We were seeking a reliable contractor to complete a bathroom remodeling project based upon our own design plans. The plan called for removing a wall and altering a closet in an adjacent room followed by the removal of an existing tub, construction of a custom spa/shower enclosure, installation of custom Italian tile in the shower and on the floor, extensive restructuring of the plumbing system, installation of a new sink/vanity and toilet and painting of the room.

Description of Work: After the first call, it took a week for a response then when the first appointment was made, it was canceled because he had car problems. After the meeting, it took a week for a quote (he did tell me it would be that long, I just think thats a bit long) then when I got the quote he had me obviously mixed up with someone else because on the quote was things we didn't even discuss to be done in a whole other part of the house. This was a bathroom remodel and he mentioned re-tiling the foyer and kitchen. His quote was also the highest we ever got and he was not the most professional person to meet. He totally discouraged the use of permits and said that would up his price 25% if I chose to ask for permits. I just didn't have faith in him and his customer service leaves a lot to be desired. ($16000.)

Description of Work: They remodeled the bathroom including updated fixtures replacing tile and painting.

Description of Work: Fixed a gutter that had come loose; he drilled a hole in the house so you could connect the dehumidifier to the outside. He cut out some paneling so I could see if there was dampness behind the paneling and there was.

Description of Work: Install 15 year laminate flooring in house of 1400 Square Feet. We supplied materials.

Description of Work: Installed 12 windows in bedrooms and den of house.

Description of Work: Mike Stacey just completed a master bath remodel for us. We started with a 80s builder quality bath and turned it into an up-to-date, functional space for much less than other contractors quoted. Mike removed all the old fixtures and replaced with new ones, including a tiled tub/shower area and floor. He installed sheetrock and moved plumbing lines.

Description of Work: Replaced existing deck and added a pergola at one end of the deck. The pergola was made to spec from a picture I had. It was very detailed and the excellent craftsmanship was evident.

Description of Work: EDM RENOVATIONS DID A MAJOR RENOVATION OF MY HOME, INCLUDING A TWO-STORY ADDITION, KITCHEN EXPANSION AND REMODELING, CONSTRUCTION OF BEDROOM, BATH, LAUNDRY ROOM, AND VAULTED FAMILY ROOM. INCLUDED MAJOR STRUCTURAL ALTERATIONS AND THE UPGRADE OF MAJOR SYSTEMS (HVAC, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING), TILE AND WOOD FLOORS, AND OTHER ITEMS. HE ALSO BUILT A WRAPAROUND DECK ON THE ADDITION.
