Kevin is exceptional. He and his entire team exceeded our expectations! We renovated our kitchen and turned our dining room into a walk in pantry and wet bar. From day 1 of our project starting, his communication was better than any contractor we’ve worked with. He updates you daily on who is coming and what they will be doing. Most days he was here to oversee all work being done, or his wonderful father in law was. Their attention to detail and making sure everything is perfect was so appreciated. Kevin and his crew did an excellent job with our master bath renovation. From demo to the completion of the project was wonderful. The quality of the work and the politeness of the workers was exactly what we hoped for and received. I completely trusted them in our home. Our master bath was a complete gut job with walls moved and completely reconfigured. It is beautiful now and we couldn’t be happier. Great job. Knocked it out in one day. Kevin placed an additional concrete support and beam not mentioned ahead of time. The addition and beam placements were said to be better engineering. Kevin did not charge anything for the extra support beam. Kevin was easy to work with and took time to explain what he was doing. Very pleasant experience. We will definetely call on Kevin in the future!

The job went very well! There was a delay due to a gas line running through the wall that was being removed, but this was not Kevin's fault. We felt comfortable having Kevin and his crews in our home. I have no problems recommending Connelly Residential Services to my friends.

Kevin and his guys did a great job! He was very punctual and kept me apprised of his progress at all stages of the job. He sent us pictures of his repairs - before and after. This was especially useful for repairs that were near our chimney that we could not see. We would definitely use Connelly Residential Services again for any home repairs.

Kevin took on a difficult job: the shower was relatively new by the home's previous owner, but a moldy disaster, and because of the imminent birth of a baby, there was a tight deadline on the job. In order to accommodate this deadline he had to manage several crew members to complete the tear-down and rebuild, which involved many steps plus wait time in between them. Timing included recommendations for purchase of materials by inexperienced customer (us), and explanation of construction concerns to prevent reappearance of mold.
Kevin's crew members were expert and communication was good across the board. Clean-up from day to day and at the conclusion of the job was excellent. The only reason for a "B" for quality is a low spot in the shower floor, but this is easily addressed with a squeegee. I am inclined to think of this small inconvenience as a byproduct of the complexity of the installation under a strict deadline. This firm was a pleasure to deal with and I would hire them again.

You would be hard pressed to find a nicer man than Kevin Connelly. The work he does is excellent and detailed. His business has outgrown him a little bit so it is sometimes hard to get him scheduled, but once he is scheduled they show up and do really nice work.

Kevin and his workers were polite and professional and did a great job. There was a minor issue with the fixture which Kevin resolved promptly. I was very happy with everything they did and would definitely hire them again in the future.

I resisted changing this review because Kevin and his team were such a pleasure. However, there were two issues that caused me to go back and give them a lower rating overall and on the quality of the work.
1. After we began using the shower, we learned that the floor had been built so that the drain is no longer at the lowest point of the floor. This means that there is a perpetual puddle unless we stand around after showering and squeegee it down the drain, which is a big annoyance.
2. A few months after construction, the shower backed up. The plumber found that some tile pieces had been dropped down the drain which caused a clog. Obviously this was an expense for us which could have been easily prevented if the man who put in the tiles had put a cover over the drain.

I had a half bath with hard wood floors and a leaky toilet. The last time the plumber came to replace the toilet seal he told me we should replace the floor with tile since the floor had started to degrade. Keven responded promptly to come give me an estimate on all 3 bathrooms.
After a couple of weeks, the toilet was no longer usable. I called Kevin and asked if I could get the quote and informed him the half bath had moved up in priority. Kevin quoted $650 to remove the hardwood floor, install the new tile that I would purchase along with grout, and replace toilet.
Kevin came within a day or two to do the demo of the old floor and let the subfloor dry. He informed me that it was a small job and since it was urgent, he could fit in with his other work. I took about a week to complete and get the previous toilet reinstalled. On the day of the long awaited toilet reinstall (I have a potty training 2 year old) Kevin called me to tell me that the toilet was not level on the bottom and he explained how he corrected with shims. I can't see the shims. He explained that it would be better not to caulk since it just becomes more of a maintenance and cleaning chore.
The tile looks great and I have just contacted Kevin to come complete our smaller full bath.

Kevin provided an up front written estimate, and worked with us when we decided to do a few items on our own to keep costs down. Kevin is always good about letting us know the scheduling and if would be late or need to adjust scheduling.

This was the best experience we have ever had with a contractor. We bought a new home with an unfinished basement and got three bids from contractors other than our builder. One bid was out of sight but two were within our price range. Kevin made two visits to inspect the project, made sure of what we wanted, and gave an itemized estimate with a great deal of specificity. We gave him the project and are so glad we did. He kept us informed daily of what to expect, was on site to insure work was done properly, made several changes that increased his cost but never raised our cost. For example he added additional tile at the entrance, a large walk in closet in the family room, double doors on the bedroom walk in closet and upgraded granite and bar cabinets without additional cost to us. His work was high quality and all of his subs were professional and licensed. I would highly recommend Kevin to family and friends with no hesitation. By the end of the project we felt like he was part of our family and we have a beautiful 1900 square foot addition to our home with many upgrades at a very reasonable cost.

Kevin is the most polite and professional contractor we have ever worked with! We were referred to him by our good friends who used him for a project. He got us our quote in a timely manner and the pricing was extremely reasonable. Scheduling our service date with was easy and he was always on time, on schedule and even ahead of schedule at one point. He always left our home in clean organized manner with no mess! He also went above and beyond to help us with a few additional last minute projects we discovered we needed while he was working for us. I would HIGHLY recommend Kevin for any homeowner!

Kevin strives to give contractors a better name and he has certainly succeeded! Since the moment I first spoke with Kevin, he has been in constant contact with me and punctual to all of our meetings, whether in person or on the phone. Kevin always returns my calls in a timely manner. He keeps you updated on the progress of the work and if an issue arises he calls you immediately to inform you of the issue and offers advice. I trust Kevin and he did not give me the run around. His prices are extremely fair for his services, and he does an excellent job! My condo looks absolutely fantastic, and Kevin finished the project on-schedule! Kevin and I conducted a walk through of the condo after the work was finished and I only noticed minor (and when I say minor I mean no one would even notice except me who is beyond a perfectionist) issues. Kevin put up with my perfectionist personality and is coming back to make all the minor requests, which will take no longer than probably 30 minutes (see pretty minor). Kevin is honest, fair, and hardworking. Kevin wants the job done right and he wants his customer satisfied - a trait you don't find in many contractors nowadays. Kevin is the epitome of customer service at a time when it is hard to come by in any profession. I have already referred Kevin to two of my coworkers and I intend to use him in the future for any further contracting work. All I have to say is if you hire someone else and not Kevin you are crazy! Kevin is the only contractor I would ever consider hiring in the Atlanta area.

Kevin is an extremely pleasant and professional person to work with. All his subs were equally nice and professional. He actually did more than agreeded upon and went the extra mile to make things perfect. One example: Originally he was going to use my house paint to do the touch up on the wood he replaced. However, the paint on the house was older and the new paint did not match just right. Kevin took a piece of siding he had removed and had a new gallon matched then had his painter come back out and redo the touch up areas. The new work blended perfectly with the old. He did not charge extra for this. I will be using him again on another project this month.
