Description of Work: A tree approximately 24 inches in diameter and around 50 feet in height succumbed to two years of drought conditions. The tree was approximately 20 feet from our home. We agreed to have the tree taken down before new tenants moved in, and received a good recommendation from the new tenants for Hicks Tree Service out of Calhoun, GA. The home is in a forested area so there was no need to go beyond dropping the tree to the ground. Mr. Hicks and helper arrived during the window of time that he said that he would to provide an estimate. The cost of $100 sounded very reasonable for the service. He was able to go ahead and cut the tree down while he was there and accomplished the whole task in less than 30 minutes.

+ -1 moreMr. Hicks came out and did an estimate to remove some pine trees that were too tall; 3 had previously fallen too close to the house after a few storms. He was prompt and professional, and worked with us on the payment. On the day of service, he came early in the morning, worked all day and was done, without any fuss or problems. He even repaired the fence of the pasture our property sides, after taking it down to remove the trees. Overall, they took down 10 or 11 pine trees, and had awesome service! I highly recommend Hicks Tree Service.
