Dr. Balkcom and Joy came to the house as scheduled and were absolutely wonderful. I was able to love on my girl while she slipped away at home peacefully. They were both very compassionate, and even helped carry Jessie to my car to take her to the crematory. (They provide this service as well, but I wanted to take her myself.)

Dr. Balkcom and her assistant, Joy, are both very friendly & knowledgeable about pet health. I'm really thankful for all the services they offer! It's a nice convenience that they come to my house because I have 3 big dogs and 1 little dog (also, my biggest dog refuses to get in the car). But I would still take my dogs to them if their office wasn't mobile because they are that great at what they do! My dogs like them too!

Very professional and timely

We brought one in at a time, approximately 15 minutes per animal. We went over the results for all the animals and any corrective measures. They were very pleasant to talk to and very professional. I will use them again

Happy Pet Mobile Vet parks in your driveway and all you have to do is bring your dog out to the Mobile office.



Dr. Balkcom and her assistant, Lisa are so kind and patient with each of my dogs. I have three dogs that I rescued and each have unique personalities.

With Happy Pet Mobile Vet, I walk out of my back door and down the driveway with one dog at a time. Each one at a time, each dog gets their annual physical, blood tests, shots, tags and medications all without being traumatized. I then walk them out of the Mobile Office and right back up my driveway and in my back door. No muss, no fuss.



Happy Pet Mobile Vet has saved me from the nightmare of loading all three of the dogs into my car and driving them to a vets office and then taking all three into a room, full of other dogs and cats. This would be traumatizing to them, as well as, scary to me.



This is my kind of convenience, as well as consideration, for our best friends, our pets.

She provided care for my personal cats, one a young adult and two elders. She gave them shots and pulled teeth for one cat--he has an autoimmune problem. They are all doing great under the care of Dr. Balkcom and I highly recommend her!

I have too many cats to get them to the vet easily. I was excited to learn about Happy Pet Mobile Vet and called them. They gave me an appointment and a few days later arrived at my door. They updated all of my cats shots, neutered a tom kitten, and treated some infected bites on his backside. This was about as easy as it gets. All I had to do was write a check. Yes, it did cost more than lugging my cats to the vet, but I felt that it was well worth the money.

I have nervous Great Danes who get very frightened at a vet office because most are not equipped to handle them. I called Happy Pet because they can come to my house and thought that would be a good option, my dogs were able to go out to her office on wheels, which is fully equipped and capable of nearly anything needed. The dogs were far more relaxed and they were able to be completely examined and get updated shots as well as blood work and whatever else they needed. It was so much easier on my dogs and on me. She gives a Military discount which made my final bill actually cheaper than other vets, in total my bill was 439.65 which included full examinations ,blood work for thyroid and cancer, heart worm test and vaccinations for three dogs. Plus sample food for a sick dog to try.
Dr. Balkcom and her assistant Lisa are highly proficient w/ a real talent interacting w/ animals, they just seem to relax w/ them and it makes for a very enjoyable experience for the animals. I recommend Happy Pet Mobile to everyone, it is affordable and so convenient.

Mobile Vet responded well within a reasonable time. A complete exam and lab work was performed on my son's cat. The lab results, along with exam discovered it had a blocked urethra. The Dr. inserted a cathether relieving the cat's distress, prescribed medications for the cat to clear the urethra and a mild pain med to make him comfortable.
The treatment period was more than an hour and was very thorough. Yes, the charge was expensive but considering the difficulty of trasporting the cat for treatment,and the convenience of a house call, I consider the cost worth while. In thre future, I would definitely use their services again.

WONDERFUL!!!!!!She was great I was amazed watching her with cutting that dogs nails.She also was great with our other dog and told us things other dogs needed that other vets didn't.
