Byron Fence Co

Company did not show on promised installation date (March 25th) and did not call and notify why. Had a very difficult time tracking anyone down to get explanation and when I finally did I was told he had "taken a couple of days off to keep the family happy". Then he moved installation date to April 11th. Received call at 9:30a on the 11th from owner informing me they were on their way but when I got home at 1:30p no one had arrived yet!!  Called again and someone was then sent out to start job. 4 guys were sent and very little was done the first day. They came back at 9:30am the next day but the wood did not arrive until 1:45p. One side of fence was installed backwards against code and I was blatantly lied to by workers as to why they "had' to do it this way. And discovered afterwards upon inspection that the portion installed backwards was sitting on inground sprinkler heads. Owner gave me written estimate but no work order and claimed work order was different then what we had discussed and based estimate on. Company worked until 9:30 at night to finish job without adequate lighting. Went from using flashlights to pulling their vehicles into my backyard and turning on headlights to see. Left a mess that had to be cleaned up by myself the next day and also discovered fence posts were not filled in after installing.  Left all their pieces of leftover cut up wood in neighbors yard.  Trampled existing bushes on my property and some on neighbors property.  Entire job was massive nightmare. Would not use and would not recommend and when I called another fence company to give me an estimate to repair fence I was told "they are always fixing this guys mistakes". Currently have attorney handling matter.  Also have had to file complaint with Bibb County Sheriff's Office to get the guy to stop harrassing me via phone, texting and emails.
And I do not know who this Matt Ginn is listed on Angies List for Byron Fence.  Current owner is Jason Stallworth.  That is who I did business with and he claimed to be the owner who had bought the company.

UPDATE: See above. Company refused to correct errors. Had to hire an attorney.

They got the job done but I don't know if I would use them again. They were very hard to get a hold off for one thing. The people who showed up out here brought the wrong fencing material. They didn't bring everything they needed to do the job. They sent out people who were not able to stay long enough to get the job completed so they had to come out here three different times. It was just a really unsatisfactory experience.

It was good and I will use them again in the future if I needed to.
