American Blinds & Shutters

Enjoy being able to support local small businesses.  Had done a little research ahead of time and talked with other providers. Made appt. with Cynthia Bowman over the phone, and met her husband (Dan) at my house.  We discussed options, and he was very knowledgeable and informative on advantages / disadvantages of each option (Shades, Blinds, and shutters, fabric, wood, faux).  I decided 2" faux wood Blinds in back windows, and 3" Wood Shutters in the front windows. Dan was very helpful in the design of the shutter to provide maximum view and in selecting color.  He installed the Blinds within a week, and custom made Shutters in about five weeks.  I have been very satisfied with the selections made and quality of product, especially the versatile options provided with the shutters- being able to open top portion with bottom closed.  They have a great warranty on product, and will still service it for its lifetime.  Very professional, Great service, High Quality Product, and Great Price.

It is a single owner business. He is retired Air Force. He has done a lot of work in our area. He guaranteed his work and he had to come back and fix something that had broken. His name is Dan. He didn't charge for his last visit. He did all the measuring before he installed the blinds. He takes pride in his work and he is very professional. He does what he says he is going to do. We would use him again and we would recommend him.
