Karen has an amazing eye for how to make every room look and feel its best.  I hired her to walk through each room of my home and give me advice,  I took notes while she gave tips, suggestions of what to keep and move, and explained the reasons and goals for doing so.  She was careful to always ask and discuss what effect I wanted to create and who were my potential buyers.  She also has a storehouse of clever and elegant ways to add flair and distinctive style so that you will feel confident when you put your home on the market.

Karen is wonderful in every way.  I was selling a house that had been a rental.  The property was a disaster when we started our renovation (trash everywhere, a rat infestation, filthy urine-soaked carpets, etc), and she worked with me every step of the way--suggesting paint colors, looking at pictures of the house and color swatches (BEFORE she even knew we were for sure going to hire her), and even checking in when she was on vacation.  She spent a ton of time during her initial consultation, and was super cost conscious. She suggested we take pieces of furniture and pictures from my house to save money, and THEN after she'd spent loads of time at the renovation taking measurements and making all kinds of suggestions about what I should address with the renovation, she followed me to where I live and picked out what I should use before finally driving to a furniture rental place and picking out pieces so the house would have more of a lived in feel.  She was going to be away when the furniture got delivered, and she checked in repeatedly while she was on vacation to make sure the delivery went smoothly.  She also ahead of time met me at the house and showed me exactly where to hang pictures and put the furniture.  She also brought extra pillows and sheets to help stage the bedroom.  The property was a little tricky to sell, and I feel certain the staging helped us get the deal done.  Karen is a delight.  I'm sure I'll use her again, and I recommend her with utter and complete enthusiasm. 

If you want your house to look amazing, call Sold by Staging. It was a total pleasure to work with the owner. Although the initial consultation is two hours, she was her much longer than that but only charged us for the allocated amount of time. Prior to the final staging date, she was available by text, phone, and email for various consultations. Three days before the staging appointment, she came over (at no cost to us) in order to review all of the rooms and plan what she would do, staying for three hours. On the day of the actual staging, it was clear that she had a plan for every space (five bedrooms, three bathrooms, living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, breakfast area, and outdoor space) and that she had brought all of the necessary items to execute her plan. In addition, she constantly consulted with us to ensure that we agreed with her decision; and she was very open to alternative suggestions and to meeting our needs for living in the house while on the market. And throughout the process, she maintained a cheerful, excited, and positive demeanor. In addition, she followed up the next day with an email with a few additional tips. Every dollar charged was incredibly well-spent. I cannot conceive of having any better staging experience, and I would urge anyone considering selling their home to call her first! We feel very confident that her work will contribute significantly to our home quickly selling.

It went great!  I signed on with Sold by Staging many months ago.  Karen came by house and we did a preliminary walk through of items she thought needed to be removed from the home.  During the months prior to getting the house ready, I would call, text or email Karen for advise on colors, products, etc. to have my home ready for sale.  She was always responsive and replied quickly.  Her expertise and advise were invaluable.  On the day of staging, she arrived on time, ready to go.  She tackled each room moving furniture around and placing display items.  Each room she completed looked like a model home.   Her attention to detail and scale were amazing.  Needless to say, she did such a great job my home sold in just 2 days over asking price.  I don't plan on moving again, but if I did, Sold By Staging would be the first company I would call.  I highly recommend their services.

My initial consultation with Karen included a room by room tour and a list of suggestions to update our 19 year old house. Because the house was empty, she helped me arrange for rental furniture for major room staging (master bed/bath, living room, dining room), suggested how we could use some of our own furniture, and supplied beautiful decorative items for a reasonable monthly fee. Her professionalism and love of her work really shines through. We couldn't have been more pleased with the results. We had an offer on our house 2 days after listing; I know it was because Karen had made it look so beautiful. I would highly recommend Sold by Staging.

Karen really knows her stuff. She took my old outdated house and transformed it into a completely new space. She moved furniture to different rooms, moved art to places I never could have imagined and banished other pieces to add light and space. It looks 100 percent better and bigger. She is so energetic and imaginative! I'm so thankful I called her. She did a fabulous job.

We were like girlfriends on a scavenger hunt. I couldn't believe that my home actually contains objects that can enhance its appearance! She is a master re-purposer. Not only was our time together productive, it was fun, too! And I am not the decorating type. But I am inspired and I am confident that my home will sell as soon as we complete the staging.

We are in the process to sell our home. Since we moved in just over a year ago, we do not have a lot of furniture so Karen did a woderful job at giving us ideas on rearraging furniture, de-cluttering spaces, and overall making our house more marketable.

I was impressed by her insight and ideas. She used our limited furniture and gave us ideas to spend a couple of dollars to improve some areas.

Everything was fantastic. Our house had been on the market for months until Karen arrived. She used only the furniture, wall pictures, and accessories in our home, and within a day we are already expecting an offer. She even used items that had been tucked away in closets for some time. Karen charges $100.00 per hour, but she is well worth twice that amount. She also works for dozens of realtors in the area, and now I understand why.
