Contracted for a shed on my property. They appeared very professional at first. Came out on a Saturday morning to see the site and take measurements for a quote. The office manager was prompt in getting a detailed contract to me and was responsive when I needed info for the building permit. After that, the professionalism disappeared. The contracted start date came with no call/email update. When they hadn't shown by 10AM, I called them and was told they were behind a couple of weeks. But couldn't find the time to let me know this. When they did finally get started 5 weeks later, the work was shabby: - the shed sits crooked with respect to the property lines. - the shed didn't pass required city inspection the first time. The guy sent someone else out to correct the problems. That guy said he has to correct issues all the time for this guy. - now it's raining and I'm finding that the roof leaks; apparently the ridge vent was put on crooked. Save your money and stay away from this guy.

Jim McMahon (owner) met with us and provided a detailed estimate (along with suggestions) and references.  We compared his quote to other providers and found him to be very competitive for the quality of materials (much higher quality than Lowes/Home Depot).  Once we checked his references, we set a date for the construction.  He and his crew showed up timely and completed the work as described, despite a few obstacles that came up when we changed the location for the shed.  The quality of Jim's work was great and we would highly recommend him.
